Perhaps I could do that. We do have WQPW on 1610 here in Oconee County. It's
operated by our EMA. The lady on there could use some help. And I think it's
been logged several hundred miles away. I can see it now...the next Howard
Stern discovered working on a county EMA station!
Why not be like the character on the old Tracey Ullman show... work
your way back into the business by landing a DJ position at the
Airport TIS station :)

I had never heard them before. I went to their website and they have job
openings there. It makes me want to dust off the old air-check tapes and
resume and see if I can return to radio. I haven't been on the air since
1992, but I'm sure I could still do it in case anyone out there is looking
for on-air talent.

Ira-
WJAS is a GREAT station. I hear them very often here in Old Fort. They have
a web site, with the history of the station and old pictures. Don't
remember
the address, but WJAS.com will get you close.
