The Voice of Tigers (VoT), the radio of LTTE in Thiruvaiaru , Kilinochchi was 
completely destroyed by the Air Force yesterday (27) evening, few minutes 
before LTTE leader's annual speech was to be aired.

Three editorial staff workers at the station and eight civilians, residents and 
travelers near the station were killed, pro-LTTE Tamilnet says.

LTTE leader said at his annual speech, that the international community is 
failed to condemn unambiguously the military path of the current regime has 
created the present situation in the island.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) condemn bombing radio station, calling 
that was a "war crime,"

"Voice of Tigers is a propaganda radio operated by the LTTE rebels, but the 
rules of war are clear - military bombardment and bombing must be limited 
to strictly military targets," RSF said in a statement.
