[HCDX] Pueblo and Observations

Have been doing more European Pirate DXing in the past few months than 
'legal' broadcast DXing.  Propagation conditions haven't exactly been 
favorable anyway.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC   5009.74  R. Pueblo  Signal suddenly on w/rapid LA Pops 
at 1053:56.  Finally 3 canned ID/promos by M at 1100, then into live 
raspy-voiced M w/nx pgm and actualities.  Horribly undermodulated but live 
M voice better.  First heard yesterday, although I see others heard it over 
the holidays.  Yesterday around 1150 started getting QRM from a het from 
obviously AIR Thiru. which gradually got stronger.  However Pueblo was 
still there when the MD ran out at 1309.  (Valko 16 Jan.)

On the 13th, LA reception was fair to good.  Had R. Cusco on 6193.41 from 
1050-1103, R. Panamericana 6105.5 at 1057, R. Libertad de Junin 503915 at 
1104, LV de Bolivar 5460.04 at 1112, and R. San Nicolas 5470.73 at 
1110-1124.  Also had an UNID. on 6108.91 at 1054 but R. Netherlands OC on 
6110 wiped them out.  (Valko)
