[HCDX] Korea, DPR

North Korea, 9650, Voice of Korea, 0845-0900 Noticed a female singing Opera here until
about 0853, then a couple of males comment in Japanese language. At 0857, the audio
went off the air, but the carrier remained. This is scheduled. Signal was fair. (Chuck Bolland,

Brazil, 9665, Radio Exterior Espana, (Pres) 0858-0910 Notice Religious Hymn
singing initially. At about 0901, a number of individuals continue to preach
in the Spanish. The signal was good. (Chuck Bolland, October 28, 2007)

Indonesia, 9680, Voice of Indonesia, 0900-0940 This morning the program
covered by QRM coming from a station speaking French. As for VOI, noted
a program in English and possibly of a religious nature. At about 0920,
the English ceased and the program continued with music and Indonesian
comments. The signal was poor. (Chuck Bolland, October 28, 2007)

United States, 9680, WYFR, 0900-0950 Noted a program of religous comments
in the French language. Didn't hear an ID until 0941 with theme music etc. This
covered VOI above. WYFR was fair even though only a few miles
from my QTH. I am usually in their skip zone - thankfully. (Chuck Bolland,
