Dear Dxers,

According to the HCJB Program Director, Tamil Language
service were increased, but the bclnews.it
(http://www.bclnews.it/a07schedules/hcjb.htm) A07
carry the wrong information. Here with i enclosed the
letter from the HCJB.

I am writing in reponse to your email regarding Tamil
language broadcasts from HCJB. My initial reaction is
that you may have mixed us up with another
broadcaster as HCJB has not deleted any Tamil
programming. You may be referring to the change made
late last year to temporarily drop the morning
transmission to South Asia - but that was the whole
schedule, not just Tamil.
During the current B06 Schedule, HCJB has been
broadcasting one program per week in Tamil at 1230 UTC
on a Friday evening to South Asia. In the A07
Schedule to commence March 25, 2007 there will be a
Friday morning program in Tamil at 0100UTC on 15405kHz
which will be repeated on Friday evening at 1230UTC on
15425kHz.

I trust this clears up this matter for you and we
thank you for your interest.

Derek Kickbush
Program Director
HCJB Global Asia Pacific
