Hauser
** AUSTRALIA [non]. `Calling All Radio Nutzzz`, occasional DX
broadcast, is underway Sat Nov 30 at 1915 as GB in GB is reading a
variety of DX tips, including from World of Radio. We were notified
yesterday and I publicized as usual that the webcast-only attributed
to Unique Radio would start at 1900, until 2200. He finishes at 1922
and back to Jen in Denver. ``In the November show the running order
has been amended so that the DX Tips, Diary dates & DX Hit list can be
heard in the first 30min of the program. We have special features
about DX-ing Antarctica, MW antenna experiments & a report on the
Oceania DX contest. Regular features include morse code course,
foreign language recognition [by Dr Richard E Wood at 1925, started
with example in Greek, but not identified; clips from the Nixon era]
and live tuning. The next program will air on Jan 25th, 2025.
Contributions of any kind are welcome - just email the show. Our Live
Stream:``

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MEXICO [and non]. 739.98 approx., Nov 30 at 0736, LAH = low audible
heterodyne again against 740.00 KRMG. Suspect it`s XEQN again, maybe
irregular (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MEXICO [and non] 970, Nov 30 at 0744, ``Jingle Bells`` tune with
different Spanish lyrix: ``Navidad, Navidad, hoy es Navidad...``
rather than trying to translate J.B. literally and preserve the meter.
And then an ``año nuevo`` song already. Presumed the usual R. Fórmula,
and maybe such an ID in passing at 0749 as it was giving way to `Red
Eye Radio`. XERFR CDMX is flagship for a major nationwide network,
50/4 kW per IRCA. Or possibly 1/1 kW XEJ CdJz. Per NRC AM Log, RER
would be WVOP Vidalia GA or far more likely WDAY Fargo ND (Glenn
Hauser,  OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2271 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday November 30 at 0400 on WTWW 5085, which has stayed on air
since rough start circa 0230, VG direct, and I also check several
remotes to find good reception at KFS in California, not Anchorage AK,
VE6JY in Alberta, Rockport ME, Miramar FL, Bonaire. Finished at 0429,
bit of music to 0430*.

Also confirmed Saturday November 30 at 0930 on WRMI-2, 7730, JBA S6/S7
direct: at least I can recognize the theme and there also seems to be
something else on frequency. 7730 is instead of 9455 WRMI-5, still on
the skedgrid with System D at this hour, but has been totally off
since hurricane damage - to antenna and/or feedline, and/or
transmitter? It seems the skedgrid is aspirational rather than
realistic (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Also confirmed Saturday November 30 at 1553 the 1530 on SW Radio,
Germany, 6160.001+, S9/+20 into UTwente with some usual ACI from 6165
Urumqi in Pashto at S9+5/10.

Also confirmed Saturday November 30 at 1700 on WRN North America
webcast.

Also confirmed Saturday November 30 at 1830 on SW Radio, Germany,
3975.002-, S8/9+5 into UTwente. Next:

Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. 9955, Nov 29 at 0453, WRMI with a song at S9+10
but just barely modulated, less than 9790 China via Cuba on this
occasion (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 780, Sat Nov 30 at 0740 UT in bandscan, I happen to hit WBBM
when it`s playing `Stardate`, 2-minute feature we normally try to
catch at midday on KPR=KANU, QX-FM, or KUCO. But 1:40 AM CST Saturday
does NOT match any of the WBBM times on website: ``Mon 12:41AM;
Mon–Fri 3:41AM; Mon–Fri 9:41PM; Sat–Sun 8:41PM`` None of that can be
believed without confirmation: https://stardate.org/radio/affiliates

Oklahoma listings are all wrong too: wrong time on KUCO, and reversing
calls for its relays in Woodward and McAlester. IMAGINARY ``KCOU-FM
91.1, Enid`` - we do have a 91.1 but it`s not KCOU and AFAIK has never
carried Stardate. Even linx a website for it: clicking on
https://www.kcou.org/ leads to intercept: ``Warning: Potential
Security Risk Ahead - Firefox detected a potential security threat and
did not continue to www.kcou.org. If you visit this site, attackers
could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit
card details.`` It seems there is a KCOU, but on 88.1, a
student/campus radio at Columbia MO. Today`s episode about an Alabama
woman hit by a meteorite 70 years ago. StarDates are often at a
too-elementary level, and keep referring to planets as ``looking like
a bright star``, duh (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1650 kHz, Nov 30 at 0755 UT, NO continuous tone! As KSVE El
Paso had been running overnight for months. Have they finally stopped,
or a fluke? Instead something in English, KCJJ IA likely, as our
closest, KFSW in OK is rarely audible somehow; and KBJD Denver is
Spanish (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 1934 UT November 30
