WORLD OF RADIO HITLIST

Hi Glenn, my latest Hitlist update.
https://www.w4uvh.net/hitlist.htm

1) Updated UTC offset notations for change to DST: Cuba (R Habana
Cuba, R Progreso, R Rebelde), USA (R Martí, VO America)
2) Germany - R Sylvia: new entry onto hitlist (Internet station with
regular monthly broadcast via Channel 292)
3) India - Akashvani: Revised link to daily "Spotlight" programme via
the daily broadcast podcast link. (Thanks to Rich Cuff in WOR iog mail
list)
4) Romania - REE: Added additional links to frequency information in
other languages in addition to the existing links for English and
Romanian (i.e. French, German, Italian, Spanish) for ease of
reference.
5) Scotland - R Six Int: New entry onto hitlist (Internet station with
regular monthly broadcast via Channel 292)
6) Spain - REE: Updated link for frequencies to new B-24 page (Thanks
to Gavin Waters)
7) USA - AWR: Updated text entry for AWR Wavescan podcasts to show as
archive programs.
8) USA - Wavescan: As the previous "AWR Wavescan" is now just
"Wavescan" with no links to AWR, I have added this new entry showing
new link to current Wavescan podcasts (plus the link to the old AWR
Wavesan podcast archive)
9) USA - WRMI: Updated labels for links to frequencies & programmes
for B24
The next update is scheduled for end of November. Best wishes and 73,
Alan Roe, Teddington, UK

** MEXICO [and non]. 800, Nov 3 at 0700, distorted noise atop KQCV OKC
the worst heard yet, from XEERG, maybe with auroral enhancement. The
huge het upon 740 KRMG from XEQN on the minus side is also worse than
usual (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 960, Nov 3 at 0701 UT, dead air again from local KGWA
Enid. Too late to try to DX thru it despite its just becoming 1 am
instead of 2 am (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960.003+, concluded from previous report, VOT English, Nov
2 at 2350 via UTwente, TRTVOTVorld.com promo. 2353 s/off as if 13635
from 1330. Something`s always awry at Ankara. 2354 IS to 2356*
uncovering the CCCCCCI (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

immediately about this but no response. From next week: nominally at
0100 UT.

Confirmed UT Sunday November 3 at 0230 on WRN North America stream, as

** U S A. 4840, UT Sun Nov 3 at 0315, WWCR with ``Roll out the barrels
of beer`` theme, and Don`t You Believe: another Australian DX Report
with Bob Padula. Yet another FOUR-YEAR-OLD one, and he sounds rather
ill. Starts out with IPS prop info from depth rather than height of
solar cycle! 10.7 cm flux 97, SSN 44. Out-of-date routine logs this
time are from unspecified ``European monitors``, not himself. Finishes
in time for fill with more nonsense, `Creation Moment`. WWCR still
rendering tremendous disservice to listeners, doesn`t know or doesn`t
care that this is old stuff. Makes me wonder if BP himself be
routinely uploading 4-year-old recordings to them every week? He might
have lost track of which year this is (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
