Logs
** OKLAHOMA. 27224.89 AM and 27184.585 AM, July 9 at 2159 and 2218
when measured, Enid CB pirate again relaying 105.5 FM K-Love
translator with gospel music, the lower one slightly weaker and with
lots of skip CCI hets (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785, July 9 at 2200, JBA carrier direct, presumably VOT,
but no signal at 2220 despite Romania OK on 11800. Then check of
UTwente: nothing there either nor on 9875. Second day in a row absent,
unusual (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 28218+ CW, July 9 at 2201, JBA beacon requires multiple
passes to copy: VVV DE KJ4LAA/B -- WGB list: ``28218.5 KJ4LAA -
Decatur AL USA EM64ln - #0 (17 Feb 2024) Note: VVV de ID + Decatur +
grid`` -- QRZ.com: ``KJ4LAA USA flag USA, Craig D McClure, 2213
Inverness Lane SW, Decatur, AL 35603``

28254.0 CW, July 9 at 2210, EEEEEEEEEE DE WD8INF/B: ``28252.5 WD8INF/B
- Lebanon OH USA EM79vk - #0 (25 Apr 2024) Note: de... pwr 10w`` --
``WD8INF USA flag USA, Ronald A May, 52 Lauretta Mae Dr Unit A,
Lebanon, OH 45036 -- 10 meter beacon station on 28.252.50 MHz - 10
watts into Comet CHA250B vertical at 20 feet. Reports welcome! Please
send to the following email address: WD8INF at arrl dot net.

28297 CW, July 9 at 2214, EEEE DE NS9RC: ``28297 NS9RC - Highland Park
IL USA EN62be - #0 (14 Apr 2024) Note: de ID + grid EEE - Half wave
vertical pwr 5w - North Shore Radio Club`` -- ``NS9RC USA flag USA,

Park, IL 60035`` -- Previously logged in summer 2020, 2021, 2022
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2250 monitoring: confirmed UT
Tuesday July 9 at 0335 the 0330 on WRMI 7780, S9 into Querétaro SDR,
S8/S9 into Georgia SDR.

NOT confirmed Tuesday July 9 at 1322 the 1300 on WRMI 9955 direct,
because it`s OFF the air: same thing happened a week ago; yet on other
weekdays, 9955 is still on air later. Flukes?

Also confirmed Tuesday July 9 at 2000, NEW time on IRRS SW via AM
Italia, 1322.994 kHz, S7/S8 into UTwente but with storm crashes to
S9+20; clear S6/S7 into Parma SDR. Next:

2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW;
2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
1930 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160;
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW;
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S;
1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 6160.

As noncommercial services, financial support appreciated. Many thanks
this week for a very generous contribution via PayPal to woradio at
yahoo.com from Peter Robinson, Preston UK, who says, ``thanks for the
DX and SWL updates - much appreciated.``

One may also contribute by MO or check on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9955, Tuesday July 9 at 0651, WRMI still on in Spanish, RFI
relay, altho on UT Monday it was off; contrary to own sked as
explained previously. At S9+10 it QRMs 9960 VANUATU (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. 9265, Tuesday July 9 at 0652, WINB still on with
country/gospel music, S9/+15 direct. Still contrary to own websked
which claims ``WINB AM Off Air`` at 0600, 2 minutes after ``Sign off
9265.mp3`` at 0558. I have not checked the webcast (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. Sporadic E FM DX opening, July 9 UT, from Florida, into my
own caradio in real time into my own ears, notes researched later in
WTFDA FMDB and adding city-to-city distances, not site-to-site:

92.1 at 1646, Spanish briefly vs CCI: ``Sarasota, 11,44`` but if an
almost-timecheck, that would be CDT not EDT. No stns exactly in
Sarasota. The two in Spanish, more likely WAFZ in SW FL than WJXR in
NE FL west of Jax; but Sarasota is not very close to Immokalee:
WAFZ-FM 92.1 IMMOKALEE FL 5.6 kW 100.0 m 26-26-55 81-16-16 Spanish No
Program Type or Undefined REGIONAL MEXICAN LA LEY 92.1 & 99.7 FM 1911
km/1187 stmi

92.1 at 1647, mention cocoabeach.com on Spacecoast. Closest to there,
but not  very close is:
WZZR 92.1 WEST PALM BEACH FL 7.2 kW 152.0 m 26-47-58 80-04-33 HD TALK
92.1 REAL RADIO 1997/1241

92.1 at 1648, ``BTQ 92.1`` - no exact match in FL or anywhere by call
or slogan but these are close:
WCTQ 92.1 VENICE FL 11.5 kW 145.0 m 27-09-03 82-27-51 HD 1BEE 92.1 CTQ
Title & Artist COUNTRY 92.1 CTQ SUNCOAST COUNTRY 2031/1262

or this but way up in west end of panhandle, far from PTA:
WECQ 92.1 DESTIN FL 19.0 kW 115.0 m 30-24-38 86-37-22 ROCK ROCK 92.1
GulfCoastRockAlternative.com

99.3 at 1653, Cuban/tropical music in $ ; 1656 ``La Nueva Playa 99.3``
and another fadeup at 1712, ``99.3 Playa``, certainly:
WWCN 99.3 FORT MYERS BEACH FL 45.0 kW 142.0 m 26-29-16 81-55-46
Spanish HD TROPICAL PLAYA 99.3 1868/1161 -- Playa means Beach tho not
Saskatchewan

102.5 at 1718, ``attention, Floridians``, adstring; 1722 ``back to
Roger & J.P. on 102.5, The [fade].`` Unless a far E-skipper knows it`s
getting into FL, surely this:
WHPT 102.5 SARASOTA FL 100.0 kW 503.0 m 27-24-30 82-15-00 HD 102.5 THE
BONE Tampa Bay's Classic Rock Station - theoneonline.com Talk TALK
102-5 THE BONE 1761/1094 -- that weblink is lacking a b -- here they
are:
https://www.theboneonline.com/on-air/rogerandjp/
Not clear why called ``The Bone``, but subslogan is ``Real. Raw.
Radio.`` Gnaw on it??

94.5 at 1729, Fort Myers ad, so:
WARO 94.5 NAPLES FL 99.0 kW 311.0 m 26-20-30 81-42-37 5670 CLASSIC
ROCK 94.5 THE ARROW 1902/1182

There has been lots of CCI on most frequencies with weak fringers
around here. Keep tuning for Es, but quit at 1745 (Glenn Hauser, Enid
OK, WOR)

** VANUATU. 9960, July 9 at 0655, R. Vanuatu JBA vs heavy splash from
much stronger 9955 WRMI, again on late, q.v. (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1650.44, July 9 at 0700 UT, heavy het/carrier against
1650 stations, no separate audio audible. Something off-frequency or
spur (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 2318 UT July 9
