Logs
** AUSTRIA. 11870, July 2 at 0346, language?, music bit smax of
Christianism, S9/+10 one of best signals on band. AWR Persian
scheduled via Moosbrunn. I wonder what % of power goes off the back
USward (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 4765, July 2 at 0331, no signal from R. Progreso; has it been
off all evening, sked 0030-0400? Something`s always wrong at
RadioCuba. 5025, R. Rebelde, however, is on (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 9700, July 2 at 0338, S9+30 Spanish music, so RHC in which
language? 0342 English announcement undermodulated and distorted but
music sounded OK. Something`s always wrong at RHC. 6000 not on earlier
but now dead air as well as on 12000 at 0347. 15230 JBA carrier, maybe
also still English like at 0100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 7475, July 2 at 0336, JBA in S9+10/20 high noise
level, presumed Station YHWH as frequently reported around this time
when I am rarely monitoring (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 341 kHz MCW, July 2 at 2213, Woodring AP Enid beacon EI
is JBA vs noise level; had not been able to detect it for some weeks.
Now absolutely no others penetrating, once regular (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 27184.58 & 27224.9, July 2 at 0350, both S9+10 open
carriers, obviously the local Enid pirate often relaying 105.5 FM
translator, but no modulation right now. Same at 1851 recheck (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [and non]. 11785.010, July 2 at *2200.4, VOT cuts on late
for English, off and back on, 2201 JIP olds already. Something`s
always erroneous at Emirler. S9/+10 direct, would be sufficient if not
for my high line noise level. 2226 tune-in via UTwente when measured,
S9+35/45 plenty with commentary about China; 2232
``always-by-your-side`` promo, music; 2238 `Turkey`s Geomarked
Products`, some dish with goat or lamb meat; 2240 finished already,
``ABYS`` already again; 2241 song; 2245 ``with-you-every-hour`` promo;
2246 song; 2250 ``ABYS`` for at least third time this hour, and song:
finally a recognizable tune! ``Quizás3``, with Turkish lyrix,
``Dan-dan3``. 2253 s/off ignoring SW: something`s always awry at
Ankara. 2253.7 IS; 2256 restart IS with German IDs; 2300 timesignal
close to exact by my watch so must have been early with Internet
delay, s/on for satellite and SW but not at this hour, Alten starting
with northern Syria, which Turkey apparently considers it should
control. Still going past 2324. Something`s always erroneous at
Emirler. BTW, Brasil missing from 11780; yesterday Paul Walker found
them way off frequency, 11974.666. I have something unID yet circa
11975 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 13563+, July 2 at 0348, HIFER beacon AN is JBA at fadeup vs
high noise level. First one heard in many weeks on the ISM band
despite daily tunebys. LWCA list shows 13562.9~ for AN in Somerton AZ,
but this was on the plus side of 13563. Somerton is even further SW
than Yuma, right on the border (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2249 monitoring: confirmed UT
Tuesday July 2 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, S9+10/20 direct = HSNL.

NOT confirmed Tuesday July 2 at 1307 and later rechecks for the 1300
airing, because 9955 is now OFF the air! It had been running past
0600, instead of weekends only, as in separate report. Yet, 9395 &
9455 are still going strong at 1307. Next:

2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW;
2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
1930 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160;
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW;
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S;
1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 6160.

As noncommercial services, financial support appreciated, by MO or
check on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702.

One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to:
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9955, July 2 at 0639, WRMI-3 is ON, surprisingly, on a
Tuesday rather than Sat & Sun only this late; in Spanish S9/+20, soon
ID as ``Noticias de América, en RFI``, i.e. France relay; a July 1
sked change? What does grid show now? Frequency/transmitter grid shows
nothing but TOMBS daily 0400-1100. System B sked shows 0400-1000
``Internet only except weekends 9955``, with the 06-07 program block
unspecific World Radio Network daily, with RFI Spanish supposedly at
05-06! The System E TOMBS sked, however shows 9955 aste*risked at
05-10 daily as weekends only. It seems to be impossible for them ever
to get all this coordinated and not self-contradictory. So the
question remains, was 9955 on past 06 this Tuesday just an error?
Furthermore, by 13 UT when WOR should have aired, it was OFF! 9955
past 0600 is bad news for VANUATU, q.v., 9960. Recheck at 2205, 9955
is back on undermodulated S9+10; nominal restart at 2200. Something`s
odd at Okee.

5010 WRMI is also on late contrary to *sked, Tue July 2 at 0651 with
TOMBS // much stronger 5850 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, July 2 at 0337, no signal from WRNO. When active
should be on at least 0100-0400, right? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VANUATU [and non]. 9960, July 2 at 0645, RV is on, but some splash
from 9955 WRMI running late, hope not a permanent nightly extension
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 10048 USB, July 2 at 0638, selcall tones, ATC presumably
San Francisco remote-controlling transmitter in Hawaii or Alaska,
advising ``secondary`` frequency at 6673 rather than 6676 as copied
last time. Craft contacted not audible. Only 6673 item in EiBi is
00-24 San Francisco Radio CEP covering eastern Oceania from site dx,
which means Dixon, California, but what means CEP? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

This report dispatched at 2324 UT July 2
