WORLD OF RADIO 2248 monitoring: one must keep checking the WRMI skedgrids in case a WOR time be deleted, or added: I do find a new one for Saturdays 0930 UT on 9455. This is at 285 degrees = WNW for western N America, not too far off our azimuth from Okee about 315. Since I strive to remain sound asleep at that hour, ASAP almost 6 hours ahead, I asked the WOR group for someone to confirm that, if they are already awake at 0930: not a single reply. 285 carries on across the Pacific, aimed right at Honolulu, by coincidence? and then Majuro, Port Moresby, Kununurra, so I wonder if there be sufficient reception in Australia or SE Asia. Local times: Honolulu 2330, Majuro 2130, Port Moresby 1930, Kununurra 1730. Confirmed UT Saturday June 22 at 0400 on WTWW 5085, VG direct; S9/+10 into NH SDR; S9+20/40 into Missouri SDR. Had been signing off at 0400* other nights but still extended for WOR. Previous program wasn`t finished but faded down by 0359 for ID and WOR. As usual, a bit of music followed at 0429 until chopoff circa 0430* with no formal ID or s/off. Confirmed Saturday June 22 at 1440 the 1430 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 6160.001, S7/S9 into UTwente in broad summersun. Missed checking Sat June 22 at 1600 on WRN NAm webcast, but very reliable. Confirmed Saturday June 22 at 1735 the 1740 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 6160.001 at S9+10 and 3975.002 at S8/9+10 into UTwente. Also confirmed from 1941 Saturday June 22 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, S9+15 into nearby SDR. Also confirmed in progress the 1930s on WRN N America webcast and WRMI webcast only. Next: 2300 UT Saturday WTWW 9475; 0000 UT Sunday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast; jammed?]; 0230vUT Sunday WA0RCR 1860-AM [nominal 0315; as late as 0500]; 0930 UT Sunday IRRS 9510 1900 UT Sunday IRRS 1323-Italy 2130 UT Sunday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 2330 UT Sunday WRMI 7570 to NW; 0030 UT Monday WRMI 7780 to SW; 0300vUT Monday WBCQ Area 51 6160v to WSW; 1930 UT Monday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW [irregular?]; 1300 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast; jammed?]; 2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975; 1930 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160; 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW; 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 6160. As noncommercial services, financial support appreciated. Thanks for a generous check on a US bank for Summer Solstice from Gerald T. Saturday June 22, I`m not up and checking DXMAP until 1530 UT when I see a huge mess of sporadic E FM DX lines across central/eastern USA with MUF above 100 MHz. So I hasten to check on the DX-398 inside: 94.5 at 1534, ad mentioning the beach, ``Q-94`` non ID; RDS shows SABRINA_, later FEATHER_, i.e. music refs, not ID. So it is: WRVQ 94.5 RICHMOND VA 200.0 kW 109.0 m 37-24-15 77-18-55 HD Title & Artist on Q94 CONTEMPORARY HIT RADIO Q-94 If it were merely Q94 the only hit on 94.5 would be Harlingen TX by searching the Slogan field. So is there a hyphen in the VA one or not? Stations should be required to utter ``dash`` or ``hyphen`` if that`s the case. And look at that power, twice the normal 100 kW limit. How did they pull that off? Richmond is inland, not on a beach. 94.9 at 1535, ad for Lowe? Fibre Internet, City of Roanoke VA PSA: WSLC-FM 94.9 ROANOKE VA 95.5 kW 598.0 m 37-11-50 80-09-11 949 STAR - Now Playing Title/Artist COUNTRY STAR COUNTRY 94.9 95.3 at 1537, ads for Colonial Williamsburg, Kia; Virginia Repertory Theater, Amelia County Fair; ``New Country K-95``: WKHK 95.3 COLONIAL HEIGHTS VA 47.0 kW 156.0 m 37-26-22 77-26-01 K95! Title & Artist on New Country K95! COUNTRY K-95 If it were merely K95, the only hit on 95.3 would be Willmar MN by searching the Slogan field. So is there a hyphen in the VA one or not? Stations should be required to utter ``dash`` or ``hyphen`` if that`s the case. Amelia County is west of C.Hts., SW of Richmond. Then I move to the caradio, but the opening is almost finished: 88.3 at 1550, Liberty University mentioned, and several times, ``The Journey``, commercial mentioning central Virginia; isn`t this the NCE sub-band?: WRVL 88.3 LYNCHBURG VA 28.0 kW 346.0 m 37-11-50 79-21-06 RELIGIOUS TEACHING THE JOURNEY Liberty University 104.5 at 1605, WTER mentioned, and another station, probably referring to gospelhuxter net members rather than this frequency, which may only be normal fringer KZZW Mooreland OK. But WTER is not a valid FM or AM call anywhere. Nothing more to 1630 when I have just missed confirming WOR on WRN. At 1635 DXMAP shows the Es nexus has been over SE Missouri (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 2256 UT June 22
