Glenn Hauser logs April 20, 2024

Hauser
** ANTARCTICA. LRA36 comes and goes --- Since it was on before 2200
last Saturday, I check earlier this week: already going at 2110 Apr 20,
Spanish talk, music into Argentine SDR, 15475.98 RC USB; but gone
already at next check 2141. Could be finished, or another temporary
failure? Still no signal at 2214. What is the current/new nominal
sked? While on, I did reconfirm the JJBBA reduced carrier by stepping
down a bit in USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785.009, Apr 20 at 2200, VOT English S9+35 into UTwente,
starting unusually with full A24 English schedule, and seemingly
correct! 2202 into news = olds for this date. 2212 music. 2216
TRTWorld.com promo, more music. 2221 `The Energy Agenda` about a dam
and power plant with megawatt stats. 2227 music. 2232
``with-you-every-hour`` promo, music. 2236 `Turkey`s Geomarked [sic]
Products`, some ``fee-bruss`` [fibrous?] cheese. 2239 music. 2244
two-minute multilingual ID filler reel, music. 2254 badax` s/off as if
the 1230 on 17620. 2255 IS, 2255.5* chopoff (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2239 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday April 20 at 0130 on WRMI 5850, S9/+10 into Peoria SDR, and
NOT on // 7730! Don`t you believe the long-wrong, WRMI System F
redsked!

Also confirmed UT Saturday April 20 from just before 0400 on WTWW
5085, S9+20 into Peoria SDR.

Also confirmed Saturday April 20 at 1450 the 1430 on SW Gold Radio,
Germany, 6160.001, S9+5 into UTwente, no QRM.

Also confirmed Saturday April 20 at 1730 on SW Gold Radio, Germany,
into Utwente, 3975.001, S9/+5 and 6160.000, S9+10.

Also confirmed Saturday April 20 after 1930 on WRN North America
webcast and WRMI webcast only.

Also confirmed Saturday April 20 at 1951 the 1930v on WA0RCR, 1860 AM,
MO, about 4 minutes into, so started late about 1947.

Regarding WOR on WRMI Sundays at 1030 UT: in B-season this had been at
1130 on 9955; first A-season sked moved it to 1030, and onto internet
only, 9955 not picking up until 1100. But now, as Wolfgang Bueschel
outpoints, the System B sked shows internet-only at 04-11 UT EXCEPT
weekends when 9955 supposedly stays on. On Saturday April 20 I
happened to awaken just after 1000 UT and indeed found 9955 on, S9+10
direct vs pulse jamming, but not with Frecuencia al Día in Spanish as
on sked, rather gospel huxter in English, sounds like TOMBS. So still
need to confirm what happen Sunday at 1030. If 9955 really permanesce
all night, there would be lots of unspecified WRN programming at 04-10
except RFI in Spanish at 05-06. WRN website still shows old B23 sked
from which one UT hour needs to be deducted:

https://www.encompass.tv/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Encompass_WRN_North-America_B23.pdf
But version abottom this page had manually? made the changes:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iDCSyjigmOz7KnnCJ5vU1e0iexexyaUO/view
as Alexander Miatlikov outpoints. I have not tried to compare whether
they be identical except for time shifts. Next:

week to John N9JL Lutz, Shorewood IL, who sent a check in US funds to

** U S A [non]. 3955, Sat Apr 20 at 1930 I`m late tuning in to the
once-a-month broadcast of `Uncle Bill`s Melting Pot`, now via Channel
292, Germany, somewhat better than // 6070. He makes it clear that his
dedication to SW prevents availablizing the program any other way. I
wonder if he would object if someone recorded it off SW and then
posted it online? At 1959 a few sex of heavy SAH overlap as Woofferton
came on slightly before 2000 with KBS World Radio in German, a rather
stronger signal, than C292 which then turned off (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 6816-6874 approx., April 20 at 0648, range of OTH radar
clickery, S9+32 double peak circa 6833 & 6852 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 2342 UT April 20
