** ANTARCTICA [non]. 15475.98 RC USB, Sat Mar 31 at 2226, NO signal of
LRA36 into Argentine SDR; 2303 recheck something distorted and at
first there seems to be a JBA RC, then just heavy splash from 15480
Chinese. Not in B23 skeds, but HFCC A24 shows CNR Beijing in Chinese
from 2300, 100 kW at 222 degrees (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CANADA. 15034 USB, March 30 at 1513-1518+, Trenton Military with at
least 5 minutes straight of `no report received` from several Canadian
locations only, even Trenton itself. At least the timechex are
correct. It would be interesting to know exactly by what routing
reports are received, and where and how the failure(s) may occur

** CUBA. 15140, March 30 at 1820, RHC in French, with squeal, only S7
into Maryland SDR and zero signal into UTwente. WRTH 2024 showed
Arabic at 1900-1930 on 15140, which one would expect to find at 1800
during DST, since we know that English has shifted from 2000 to 1900.
Homepage also says ``Ahora Reproduciendo Arabe`` but we hear Spanish
instead, not French either. So is there any Arabic now on RHC?

** MALI. 5995, March 30 at 0619, NO signal direct from ORTM, no noise
blob either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [non]. 5960, March 30 at 2305, no signal of VOT into
UTwente, but *2315.7 Chinese from EAST TURKISTAN chops on. May be
ordinary TRT failure, but I should have checked 11785 after 2200 in
case they got a jump on A24. That`s wherewhen English to us should be,
or not, for the next 7 months. HFCC shows no CCI or ACI, but Brasil`s
bigsig on 11780 is never registered (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2236 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday March 30 at 0130 on WRMI 5850, S9+20/30 direct.

immediately. Also at 1841, huge open carrier on and off quickly, into
Maryland SDR. Must be WTWW testing. But not on air at 2115 check,
despite supposed start at *2000. It is on at 2340 blasting hymn (Glenn
