Not sure that is a new thing:
I found several new frequencies with "Pip" russian marker or very similar:
5780 kHz
6218 kHz
6230 kHz
6402 kHz
all in USB and all with carrier 570 Hz above published frequency with 
pips on 813 Hz (stronger) and 2415 Hz (weaker)

Old pip channel on 3756 kHz is also active at the moment with slightly 
different tone and lenght of the pips.
