Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6955 USB, Dec 12 at 2314, rock music S9+20. These
reports since 2147 with SSTV images say Thunder Chicken Radio:

** OKLAHOMA. 275 MCW kHz, Dec 11 at 2319 UT, 25-watt GUY Guymon is the
only somewhat unusual NDB audible (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [and non]. 5960.005, Dec 12 at 2259, VOT is not off, IS with
English ID, 2300 opening with the 3-hour-off-local-time-called-UTC
sked. S9+10/20 vs S9+40 intermittent local noise bursts, but even
between them not solid L&C reception. No time to listen meanwhile,
until: 2353, S9+30/40 into UTwente, same wrong s/off sked as at s/on,
2354 only 6 notes of IS before chopoff uncovering ChiCom, etc. (Glenn

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2220 monitoring: NOT confirmed UT
Tuesday Dec 12 at 0130 on WRMI 9395: replaced without notice by
`Teachers Corner`, mostly music but 0138 brief announcement, and
skedgrid already updated to show that at 01-02.

Confirmed UT Tuesday December 12 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, JBA direct.

** U S A. Re my 7490v + webcast WBCQ report, on Dec 12, Uncle Bill
responds: ``Plain Old Doug Show has been filling in for Ginga Brasil!
which will return January 14, the second and fourth weeks. PODS will
be doing Christmas Eve and NYE (US) as well {UT Mondays}. However,
January starts a weekly Plain Old Doug Show, Mondays at 0200-0230 UT
on 7490. Yeah, the timer was off at the station, I believe that has
been addressed. My UBMP this weekend will be vintage Brazilian funk
plus Greek laika cinematic music hits`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 810.6 kHz approx., het against 810 stations, no audio
pullable but seems too strong to be a local birdie and nonesuch noted
here before. Nothing any more than +045 Hz in mwoffsets list {adding
time and date! 0529 UT Dec 11 and none of it next night} (Glenn
