WORLD OF RADIO HITLIST UPDATE

Hi Glenn, My latest Hitlist update, Dec 9:
https://www.w4uvh.net/hitlist.htm

1) Albania - R Tirana: Added new link for R Tirana live stream (Thanks
to Jean-Michel Aubier via WOR iog mail list)

2) Germany - Media Broadcast: Changed link to point to the
landing-page to access the MBR frequency schedule (to ensure that the
latest schedule is accessed) (Thanks to Alex Miatlikov in WOR iog mail
list for alerting to a revised B23 schedule)

3) India - Akashvani: Added link to archive of recent "Spotlight"
programmes

The next update is scheduled for end of December. Best wishes and 73,
Alan Roe

** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, Saturday Dec 9 at 1756, LRA36 already
underway with talk into Argentine SDR. Too much else going on Saturday
afternoons to pay much attn to it, starting with Met Opera new season
at 1800, vs Talking Machine Show on WWCR 12160. Rechex find LRA36
still going at 1928, 1957, 2056 at S7, 2158 S5, 2217. And still at
0012 UT Dec 10 ID with frequency; 0039 still when I check direct: a
trace (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 6000, Dec 9 at 0438, NO signal from RHC English, and then
unfound on any other known frequency on 6, 9, 11 or 15 MHz bands.
Something`s very2 wrong at RHC. 5025 Rebelde also missing, as often
but not always. However, 5910 China relay is blasting in. Next check
at 1630, music on 15140 // much weaker 11760 must be RHCs (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9440- & 9442+, Dec 9 at 2212, no signals from R. Cairo into
UTwente; something`s egregious in Egypt (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960, Dec 9 at 2300, VOT English not off the air,
sufficient signal direct since the noise bursts have just about
stopped, for now? Fingers crossed. It`s my delayed napping hour, so
TRT has the honor of overlaying thru headphones any other household
distraxions, with the music breaks most appreciated while I couldn`t
say much about the talk subjects, after the first feature, `Captain`s
Log`. Accurate but incomplete English sked at s/off until IS starts at
2353.5 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. PS to my AAAWWW WBCQ log last time: later, circa 0148 UT Dec
9, Allan recommends for a blind listener, a SW radio with *knobs*,
like the ATS-909. On the contrary, direct frequency entry is a must
for finding anything, once they master the layout of the keypad! which
in fact the `909 also has (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 0048 UT December 10
