** OKLAHOMA. FM DX report Nov 7 under USA includes some OKitems ** OKLAHOMA. RF 17, K17JN-D, Enid`s only local TV signal, Nov 8 at 0611 UT, is back! After exactly a month, since Oct 7 of wasted watts transmitting nothing but dead sound and black video on all subchannels - except for a brief break totally off the air. It was still so, checked a few hours earlier on Nov 7. But the lineup has changed: 17-1, K17JN-D, 3ABN main channel 17-2, & 17-3, skipped! nothing 17-4, 3ABN-ES = Spanish 17-5 & 17-6 & 17-7, skipped! nothing 17-8, AUDIO ONLY: 3ABN-RD - which means what? 17-9, AUDIO ONLY: 3ABN-RL - which means what? 17-10, AUDIO ONLY: Radio 74 I gather that virtual channel numbers displayed do not always match up with `real` channels, why? Previously, one of the AUDIO ONLY channels was always silent! Radio 74 network is also on 89.3 KIEL Loyal OK 3.8 kW south of Enid, semi-local but ACI from 89.1 Enid translator. Here is how it shows at https://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=station_search&callsign=k17jn-d before they get this updated info from me; strangely it`s filed under Market #50, OKC, altho no one there is going to be able to see it. After news, 2309-2319 first feature of interest is about the whistling language of the Canary Islands, Sr. Romero talking about it as Quintana translates - from Spanish, not whistlish. Also, one sked version says 7285 is correct for 2130-2230 English, and also at 0400-0500. But HFCC still shows 9610 at 2130; which is it? I check Nov 8 at 2200 into UTwente: nothing on 7285; 9610 with about equal mixture of poor signals, one of which sounds like VOT English, the other Chinese? Aoki shows CNR8 in Mongolian from Beijing 491 site, and VOT English. 7285 would be better. 5960, here`s a new erroneous at Emirler! Via UTwente, S9+25/40, Nov 8 at 2346 amid Turkish music, brief announcement not in English; more music, another very brief presumably Turkish announcement, music until chopoff at 2356*. That`s the normal endtime for English. Uncovers the CCCCCCI which has been underneath. Wrong program feed and no one noticed. After 2300, only English is scheduled anywhere on SW, but Turkish HS presumably runs 24h, supposed to be in a SW break per HFCC, until 2200* on 6120, resuming at *0100 on 6000 (Glenn Hauser, WOR) ** U S A [and non].
