Subject: [HCDX] Glenn Hauser logs September 15-16, 2023

MALDIVES [non]. 11620.00, Sept 15 at *1459.7 carrier on, 1500 s/on
of VOMK Maldives service; seems English but very undermodulated S9/+10
vs HLNL here. Back on-frequency after yesterday on 11620.41. As soon
as we are more or less convinced it`s the RBAustralia Kununurra site,
this comes in from Mauno Ritola:

``[WOR] 11620 1500-1530 site --- Sorry, wrong info, Reach Beyond
Australia confirmed now, that it is not (any more?) via them. So maybe
TWN or TAC. Best regards, Mauno``. I still say it`s not Tashkent. I
also compare it to 11825, RBA in Burmese: weaker S9 = HLNL, and slight
wobble of carrier, similar to 11620.

At 1527 I try one of the five KiwiSDRs on Taiwan, BM2KVV #1: 11620 is
JBA and on-frequency. Of course that is inconclusive, as could be too
far for groundwave and too close for skywave. I wonder which of the
five may be real close to any of the three major SWBC sites on island?
Off shortly after 1530*

From my angle it`s not Tashkent. But Wolfgang Bueschel says 11620
signal characteristix today for AWR Burmese on 11850 before 1500 via
Uzbekistan were identical to 11620 afterwards.
