** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, Aug 24 at 1719, LRA36 is on again, this Thursday, first tuning at this hour into Argentine remote, song at S7/9+5. At 1804 still song; 1808 YL talking about murder of a reporter in 1997y; 1810 as ``Estudio 9``; 1811 ``Uniendo Voces``, credits Adrián Korol of RAE, then reading a scripted story with music background; 1859 and 1939 still going, but gone by next check 2024. I have not been checking for it every morning or afternoon, but may well be on more than we have noticed. Manuel Méndez, Lugo, Spain, was also hearing it today at 1810-1843 and ``Also on air 22-08 Tuesday and 23-08 Wednesday at about the same time`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2205)
** CUBA. 11775, Aug 24 at 0620, weak pulse-jamming, Cuban style; stronger PJ still on 11860, 11930 vs no Martí. I remember that long ago, 11775 was a R. Martí frequency. Yes! it`s listed in 2005 WRTH on page 605. The Cuban jammers also have a very long ``memory`` still/again jamming frequencies abandoned ages ago by RM. We also remember that 11775 was the day frequency of Caribbean Beacon, Anguilla carrying nothing but Dr Gene Scott - maybe RM did not start using it until CB vanished; or certainly coördinated not to conflict. Thus any frequency ever used by opposition to Cuba is ruined forever. Currently in A23 per EiBi, the only users anywhen of 11775 are Chinese program jamming and Sound of Hope. Aoki shows also CNR6 and CRI at times --- and incredibly! STILL Caribbean Beacon, Anguilla at 10-22, as a G=Great Britain entry!! And also long-gone 6090 the other 12 hours (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2205) ** U S A [and non].
