Sept 18 (Sunday) observations:

INDONESIA. 3325, Voice of Indonesia, via Palangkaraya; yesterday was off the
air, but today was on and somewhat readable.
Highlights:

1115 UT: In Chinese.

1201: Started in Japanese; news.

1208: Up-beat, patriotic RRI song "Mars Angkasawan RRI" (very nice video -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzAq7Rfj-Uc );
am very grateful to Juichi Yamada (Japan) for IDing this song for me last
year; in the past I incorrectly reported it as "Garuda
Pancasila."

1301: Started in English; news (Taiwan quake, etc.); 1308, brief
announcement about VOI contest; "Spotlight" weekend
commentary; up-beat, patriotic RRI song "Mars Angkasawan RRI."

1313: "Today In History"; this date in 1931, the Japanese army had the
Mukden Incident, in Manchuria; this date in 1948,
the Communist Party of Indonesia rebellion, known as the Madiun Affair; this
date in 2007, Saffron Revolution, with economic
and political protests in Myanmar.

1317: Multi-language PSA to wear a mask; acknowledgement of a letter from a
German listener; segment "Indonesia Today."

1330: "Indonesian Wonder" program.

A rare day that I clearly could make out some audio on // 4749.95, via
Cimanggis/Jakarta, at 1148 and was mixing
with CNR1; listening here before the start-up of Bangladesh (External
Service) at 1228 UT.
