Guten Nachmittag,
ROMANIA. Stephen Luce replies May 7 on the WOR iog to my report that RRI was missing from 7375 at 0300: "Glenn, for Romania it would appear that one of the Tsiganeshti transmitters for Radio Romania International has now been off the air for over a year. I have not heard anything for the English broadcasts on 9550 at 0000, or on 7375 at 0300 during the A-22 season, which was the same situation during A-21. Meanwhile both 7420 and 9730 are present for Romanian at 0000. During B-21 RRI had both scheduled frequencies working for English at 0100, but was missing a transmitter for Romanian at the same time. There does not seen to be any sort of recent explanation for the missing transmitter on the RRI website. Has to be a severe problem to have gone on for so long. I too am getting good reception of RRI English at 0300 on 9850. Three hours earlier, 7375 is fair but improves during the hour as local sunset approaches.
