Hi - Simon closed his year with a nice present: a new feature of his free SDRC software, controlling many SDRs. It works on recorded files, and converts them literally in seconds into a complete spectrogram. There you can nicely see the "footprints" of each signal. Just by mouseclick, you set the receiver to the clicked-to time. It features also a clickable loop to define start and end of playing a channel. It is esepcially useful to see broadcast stations - check bands over 24 hours, congestion, propagation, sign on and sign off times.I worked with this new and exiting beast a bit, please see at: https://dk8ok.org/2022/01/02/sdrc-new-bitmap-display-helps-to-raise-dx/ With some screenshots, this should also work as a quick starter. 73 Nils, DK8OK -- dk8ok.org _ Hard-Core-DX mailing list Hard-Core-DX@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/hard-core-dx http://www.hard-core-dx.com/
