at Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

300 MCW kHz, Dec 26 at 0728 UT, dash and YIV, 500 watt NDB at Island
Lake, Manitoba, almost 54 degrees N latitude. Two of the less common
Canux; unlike regulars I seldom relog, YXL 346 Sioux Lookout, and
always strongest WG 248 Winnipeg (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [and non]. 13740, Dec 25 at 2308, S9+40 of dead air from RHC,
same with some hum on 15230, S9+5. Spanish succeeds but suptorted on
15370, S9/+20. Something`s always wrong at RHC. But 13650 CRI
``Portuguese`` of Chinese music only is VG S9+30 way over the Japan

just-barely-modulated transmitter yet S9/+25. Something`s always

** U S A [non]. In previous report about WOR, Friday Dec 24, I wrote
wrong frequency for interference, 7290 instead of 7295. That portion
repaired:

I had started listening to both about 1903, when 7290 seemed dead air
at S8 with heavy ChiCom ACI de 7295 unless LSB-tuned; but 918 VG S9+18
with `Feature Story News`...

Also confirmed UT Sunday December 26 at 0030 on WRMI 5950, S9+20/30
direct, and about two words behind on WRMI 7730 S9/+30.

with heavy flutter. Aoki shows VOA Somali via Woofferton UK at
1600-1800.

11830, Dec 25 at 1609, similar fluttery signal to 11610. That`s
Deutsche Welle in Amharic via Issoudun, FRANCE at 1600-1700. Anyhow,
the North Atlantic backward path is disturbed (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Dec 26 at
0715-0721: 549, 558, 612, 639, 684-2, *693, 747, 774-2,, 837-2,
846-TP, 855, 882-2, 909, 954, 999, 1044, 1053-2, 1089, 1107-2, 1215-2
kHz. *strongest. -2 means at least two carriers beating - some slow,
some faster. Maybe I should time them and compare to mwoffsets (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
