** CHINA. 13130, Dec 3 at 2359, JBA carrier, presumed reliable CNR1 jammer against Sound of Hope, off at 2400* without hearing any timesignal. After 0000 Dec 4, quick check found no others WOOB in the 16s, 14s, 13s, 12s, 11s, or 10s; but plenty of Chinesy signal within the 9 MHz band (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** EAST TURKISTAN. 5060, 4850, 4500, Dec 3 at 2351, JBA graylinish carriers on the matching frequencies of PBS Xinjiang, Urumqi, land of imperialist Chicom genocide against Uighurs and other Moslems. Each a different domestic language service; unfortunately, the fourth one, 4980 is now blocked by WRMI extended to start at 2300 including, oh my, yours truly at unexpected time 2330 // 5950; see USA [and non] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** KOREA SOUTH [and non]. 9100, Dec 3 at 2322, VP signal with noise like jamming, presumed Echo of Hope, which Ron Howard reported as of this Monday Nov 29 at 0851 was on 9100 rather than alts 9095 or 9105. I often detect one of them or another at various dayparts (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6925.0 AM at S4-S7; and 6919.9 AM at S3-S4, Dec 3 at 2354, once again on the pirate band I am getting nothing but these two weak signals with rock. What are they saying in HFU? 6925, Coastal Rock Radio starting at 2100, still at 0105 Dec 4: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,89793.0.html 6920, Radio Pushka presumed per one report from 0000 Dec 4: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,89799.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 5960, Dec 3 at 2320, VOT is S8/S9+10 into my bigrig but just barely modulated, so on that defective transmitter today. By 2350 Turkish music is still undermod S9/S7. Back at 2300 I could not hear it at all on the portable. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2115 monitoring: confirmed Friday December 3 at 2130 on IRRS via AM Italia, 918 kHz, S9+10 into nearby Noale SDR, following C&W music, ID. Also confirmed Friday December 3 at 2350 check the 2330 on WRMI 5950, S9+10/20 direct. AND ALSO on WRMI 4980, S9/+20, where not scheduled. I quickly check all the other WRMIs on 5, 7, 9 and 15 MHz but not even more WOR. Here`s what`s supposed to be on 4980 at 23-24 UT: ``WRMI Radio Miami International -- November 29 at 9:19 AM · Tune in for an hour of oldies music at 2300 UTC Monday-Friday (i.e. 6:00 pm Eastern Time) on 4980 kHz, presented by APS Radio, beginning today, November 29, 2021.`` as on disgraced FB. Checking the skedgrids, we have yet another contradixion between the top of the sked and the bottom. WRMI-4, 4980 at 160 degrees, besides System E with TOMBS at 00-11 UT, now has additional System L at 23-24 UT. But the program sked below for Sys L shows 5950 only. During that hour M-F there are many other shows besides WOR which would be affected: TRSW, LR Tokio, Alt Universe Top 40, Encore, Wavescan! OR, added to 4980 if APS continue no-show? WOR 2115 also confirmed UT Saturday December 4 at 0230 on WRMI 9395: VP into Maryland but VG into Missouri, S9+23, fading down a bit toward the end. Kelly `Satanic` Bogues is on schedule, but I don`t think he`s every week (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 3265, Dec 4 at 0058, still no signal from this WBCQ, but quick check of others into Maryland SDR: 4790 good with TOMBS; much weaker JBA S5-S7 on 6160 minus 56 Hz = 6159.944; 7490 minus 52 Hz = 7489.948 at S8-S9. So that`s what to expect for `AAAWWW` from 0100 as I semilisten to (7490) webcast instead. After big beep signaling FKB gospel huxter that it`s time to go; First WW topic is about how black and white are not really colo[u]rs; the Internet of Things; 0118 about a ham special event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the first trans-Atlantic contact on 160m with original call 1BCG, times TBA at 1BCG.org [see below]. 0125 datestamp as 3 of December YOOLF 2021. 0138 survey shows top requirement of new car buyers is that they have a radio! 0144 checking MD remote, 6160 and 7490 have faded out. Allan says haven`t been using 3265 much this winter, but would like to if could sell some time on it. It must be inconceivable to him to transfer all 7490 programming after sunset or so to: 3265! which still propagates. 0145 looks for new Free Radio Weekly but can`t find it. This week`s editor Larry Will soon calls to assure him it is out, AW finds it and reads some logs. 0150 emailer Steve asks him to debunk Hal Turner that 5G is dangerous, which Allan does in some detail explaining about microwave power levels from cell towers being minuscule. And get vaccinated! No Bill Gates microchips included. Jerry calls with details of the 160m special event, which I also check, quoted below. 0158 praying already and for a change finished in time for Hal Turner theme from 0200. ``2021 marks the 100th year anniversary of the historic Transatlantic Tests. On December 11, 2021 The 1BCG replica transmitter will be operating as W2AN/1BCG on 1.821 MHz, plus or minus, using CW, from The Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut. Transmissions from W2AN/1BCG will be one-way, just like the original transatlantic tests in 1921. You can get a SWL certificate for this Special Event by sending a copy of the transmitted message to 1BCG@AntiqueWireless.org Schedule: Transmissions start on December 11, 2021, on 1.820 mhz, +/-, at 1800 EST or 2300 UTC, then every 15 minutes thereafter for a total of five hours thusly; 1815, 1830, 1845, 1900, 1915, 1930, 1945, 2000, 2015, 2030, 2045, 2100, 2115, 2130, 2145, 2200, 2215, 2230 and the last transmission at 2245 EST [0345 UT Sunday Dec 12]. This special event is your opportunity to relive a historic moment in amateur radio history. Additional details will be posted here when they are available.`` John Carver`s version: ``Tonight's show started on time on 4790, 6160 and 7490 with all three frequencies listenable at the moment. Allan and Angela in the studio. After some opening banter the talk turned to WOKE and race and then into talk about the sun and solar flares and how vulnerable today's methods of communication are compared to real radio with tubes which would still work in spite of those events. Then a quick jaunt through radio history mentioning that this month is the one hundredth anniversary of the first transatlantic performed by hams using radios. Then reads an article about the event. The event will be recreated this month on the anniversary. Then Allan reads another article as 6160 gets too noisy to copy and noise increasing on 7490 which is also suffering from interference from some hams for some reason so move to 4790 for the rest of the program. Allan then comes up with a current article which states that radio is still the best form of audio equipment in a car according to a survey of several thousand car buyers who prefer radio rather than all the digital options that are available now to car owners. Six different countries were included in this survey. At 0147 Allan starts reading highlights from the brand new edition of Free Radio Weekly then starts reading emails at 0150. Closing prayer at 0159 and off the air at 0200.
