You can help keep
Encore on the air:
Encore is a one-man
operation. WRMI and Channel 292 are very
generous with their air-time but Encore still
costs around 200 Dollars/Euros a month to
broadcast.
I
need some help with the costs or Encore will
have to stop.
There
is a PayPal donation button now on the homepage
of the website - www.tumbril.co.uk -
which folks can use if they want to. If PayPal
is no good for you then send me an email and
we'll sort something else out.
Big
thanks to the folks who have donated already -
It's enough to keep going for another 4-5
weeks.
This week's Programme - First broadcast
this coming Saturday by Channel 292 - starts with some of Beethoven's last major
composition - the String Quartet No. 16. It is
followed by Finnish composer Kimmo Hakola - his
Clarinet Concerto, and then a cello sonata from one
of J S Bach's children - C P E Bach. After that -
the Monteverdi Choir will sing John Tavener's Dum
Transisset Sabbatum. The programme ends with the
Flute Sonata in D MAjor by Joseph Bodin De
Boismortier.
Channel 292 can be pulled live
off the internet if the reception is poor in your
location. Easy to find their site with a google
search.
