WRMI airs two Texas Radio Shortwave programs Sunday: 1) TRSW Special:
Atlantic 2000 International pirate station at Midnight and 2) TRSW
Prime: Janis Joplin Live at 0100 UTC. (These times are 8 p.m. and 9
p.m. ET respectively on Saturday, October 9.)
Atlantic 2000 International is a French pirate station, back on WRMI by
request. eQSLs from Atlantic 2000 International will come directly
from the station at atlantic2000international@gmail.com. TRSW won’t
issue eQSLs for this program.
Janis Joplin Live features a selection of the Port Arthur, Texas
native’s music. If you expect to hear “Me and Bobby McGee” or “Mercedes
Benz,” you’ll be disappointed. Instead, you’ll listen to an alternate
version of “Down On Me” and 10 more great songs.
Janis Joplin eQSLs are available for accurate, detailed reception
reports covering at last 20 minutes of the program. The verifications
are a double-panel design (like front and back on a traditional paper
QSL). Our email is texasradiosw@gmail.com.
TRSW’s Europirate relays continue a week from Saturday at 8 p.m. (0000
