This is the seventh in a series of weekly WRMI relays of European
pirates and low-power licensed broadcasters, many of which haven’t been
heard in North America for many years — if ever. The remainder of the
series looks like this:
August 21 - Atlantic 2000 International, France
August 28 - Radio Delta International, The Netherlands.
Beginning on September 4 in NAm (September 5 UTC), Texas Radio
Shortwave, Limpia Mountains Radio, and WRMI begin a new series of
Europirate relays on a different day of the week and on a different
frequency. An announcement’s been posted on TRSW’s Facebook page
(https://www.facebook.com/texasradiosw).
WRMI’s transmitters are located in Okeechobee, Florida, USA.
Texas Radio Shortwave lurks stealthily in international waters off the
South Texas coast. Its programs are regularly broadcast in North
America and Europe.
Limpia Mountains Radio operates from a cave on Brooks Mountain in Jeff
Davis County in far West Texas. It coproduces radio programs with Texas
Radio Shortwave.
