Best wishes and 73, Alan Roe, Teddington, UK ** OKLAHOMA. 515-MCW kHz, July 4 at 0638 UT, NDB PN, Ponca City reconfirmed still on, JBA vs HNL (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. The virus of dead Brother Scare is spreading even worse than during his lifetime. Artie Bigley, OH, reports July 2: ``Glenn, Brother Stair on KXEL 1540 AM now! As of Monday, or so, I'm now hearing Brother Stair at 2:00 AM CDT on KXEL radio. He is on from 2-3 AM CDT. I've listened to the nighttime talk show that normally airs at that time but it's now preempted by Brother Stair. Called the station today and they told me that his organization recently brought that one-hour time slot and he has been on the station before. I guess that was over ten years ago. So, his organization must have more money to burn on airtime on various stations is my point. As you mention on WOR yesterday he is buying more time on WBCQ these days. Artie`` I`ve also noted these expansions; where comes from all that money?! BS ranting is unlistenable by anyone with half a brain, and blasting that crap over more and more SW frequencies is not going to change that. How ashamed SW stations must secretly be, allowing themselves to depend more and more upon him. 4980, July 4 at 0620, WRMI indeed still on with squealy TOMBS. 5800 at 0628 also, S9+10/20 undermodulated. 9955 at 0637 also JBA carrier presumably same as on new skedgrid overnights. And 9955 definitely TOMBS at 1605 Sunday July 4, so mid-day has been added. But that`s not all!: 6159.901, July 4 at 0621, S9+10, WBCQ with TOMBS, this transmitter also expanded, overnight? Also have a JBA carrier on 3265.147, must be same as previously measured offset+plus. No 7490 or 9330 tho. WBCQ program sked still shows no expansion of 6160 nor any 3265 at all! 9265V, July 4 at 0635, JBA S9 = hi local line noise level, must be WINB, normally never on at this hour, bet it`s TOMBS too! Program sked not updated since June 6. However, EiBi shows 9265 in DRM at 0700-1100 M-F only, but this is Sunday. BUT TOM website HAS been updated for July with all this new stuff: https://overcomerministry.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/OVERCOMER-MINISTRY-RADIO-LOG-2021-Google-Docs.pdf Including WINB 9265 at 0400-0700 daily; WBCQ 3265 24/7! 6160 24/7 except for the existing Area 51/61 blox. 7490 from 1600 daily but not overnight. Also lots of time via Bulgaria, WWCR, and of course WRMI, on 13 frequencies, probably partially via every single transmitter. Also expansion on AM/FM stations including KXEL at 06-08 UT daily (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2093 monitoring: confirmed Saturday July 3 at 1800:36 on IRRS via Romania 7290, VG via UTwente, and also on Italia AM, 918 kHz, via nearby Noale SDR steady S9+17, running 3 seconds ahead of 7290 as via two different SDRs. Earlier, 7290 from 1755 tune-in with hum and warble on plus side only; 1759:46 JIP Aida theme cut on in progress as usual, quick IRRS ID, rather long pause before WOR start. Timings compared to RWM 9996-CW also via UTwente. BTW, EI Enid is on 341 kHz, not 342 as I misspoke on WOR 2093. WOR also confirmed from 1942 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, MO via nearby SDR. Also confirmed at NEW time of 2000 Saturday July 3 on WRMI 15770, good direct at this hour, even tho off the side. Also confirmed ending at 0341.5 UT Sunday July 4 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM direct, sufficient but storm noisy; so started early circa 0312. Next: 2000 UT Sunday IRRS 918-Italy 2200vUT Sunday WBCQ 6160v Area 51 to WSW 2230 UT Sunday WRMI 9955 [jammed?] to SSE [new] 0030 UT Monday WRMI 7730 to WNW 0230 UT Monday WRMI 7780 to NE, 5800 to SSE 1330 UT Tuesday WRMI 15770 to NE [NEW] 1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW 2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 to NE 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html Our non-commercial broadcasts and website depend on voluntary support: no new thanks this week for a MO or check in US funds on a US bank, to: Glenn Hauser, Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 5085, UT Sun July 4 at 0028, WTWW-2 with `TOUTA` almost on time, including really frantic version of William Tell Overture; take that, AAAWWW! But by then I`m on the stereo webcast, non-distorted. Ends right at 0100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 9330, still AWOL WLCR via WBCQ. Dave Zantow got the reason: ``Alan Weiner via Twitter (July 4, approx. 1330 UT) --- "9330 the worlds Superstation off the air. The power amplifier tube cracked in half!!! Never saw that one before. Manufacturing defect we think as the big PA tubes last up to decades. Searching for a spare now. TH576 made by Thales in France. Very disappointed. Cost new $ 100k." Dave Zantow N9EWO, Janesville WI, "Dave's Radio Receiver Page"`` (WOR iog) ** U S A. 1360, July 4 at 0345-0355 UT, trying to hear WNJC, Washington Twp, the one near Camden NJ, via closest KiwiSDRs, in preparation for July 4th DX test at 00-10 UT, but not getting anything identifiable via Philadelphia, Central NJ to the north, nor Fair Hill, Maryland to the south; as I have little hope of getting it direct despite nightly `DX tests` from 0400 in June and early July. The July 4 special might have been on tonight = UT July 4 but probably really UT July 5, they did not make explicitly clear (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 92.9, July 4 at 1721 UT, ``Eagle 92.9`` IDs at least thrice, also mentions iHeart, vs considerable CCI. I`m checking for Es on the caradio parked in the garage following 90+ MHz MUFs on DXMAPs. This is the only unusual signal found on 87-98 MHz. WTFDA database shows only two possibilities: KTGL 92.9 BEATRICE NE CLASSIC ROCK THE EAGLE 92.9 100.0 kW ERP H&V 247.0 m HAAT 40-31-06 96-46-07 42D3 THE EAGLE Title & Artist Classic Rock WEGX 92.9 DILLON SC COUNTRY EAGLE 92.9 100.0 kW ERP H&V 492.9 m HAAT 34-22-04 79-19-21 5FEB TODAY'S COUNTRY WEGX EAGLE 92.9 - Country Unfortunately did not hear it long enough to tell whether country or classic rock. Slogan did not start with ``The`` so that leans to SC, which is also a likely distance for sporadic E, 1049 miles. Beatrice however might have ``skipped`` in via tropo scatter, 275 miles, too close for Es. Such fringe stations mostly in KS & OK are the bane of my FM DXing, as they can fade in and out completely much like Es. Checking Radio-locator next, both have iHeart oonnexions, but neither directly owned, both with streaming via iHeart. It looks like KTGL is less iHearty, and I am leading toward WEGX as the more likely. KTGL-FM 92.9 MHz Beatrice, Nebraska "92.9 the Eagleclassicrock" Station Format: Classic Rock Website: https://www.ktgl.com/ Audio Feed: Listen via iHeartRadio Station Owner: Alpha 3E Licensee LLC Debtor-in-Possession WEGX-FM 92.9 MHz Dillon, South Carolina "Eagle 92.9" Station Format: Country Website: https://eagle929online.iheart.com/ Audio Feed: Listen via iHeartRadio Station Owner: IHM Licenses, LLC Another fruitless session at 1920-1935. Mostly the highest MUF patches are a little too close or a little too far to have any DX effect to here (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report despatched at 1952 UT July 4
