Woodring Airport, Enid, reconfirmed on the air but JBA at near-local

City is back on the air! I tune across here almost every night, and
it`s been gone until now checked in the daytime, vs storm noise. Last
logged July 30, 2020 but not noticed missing until August 11.
Classaxe.com however says it was last logged September 3. Before July
there had been other outages. It had been reported from many states
but hardly any of their listings come from OK (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 15185, June 26 at 2054, surprised to find VOA in English,
S9+25. Interview with a YL university student from Central African
Republic who has lived in WDC for seven years. Hostess asks her to
``slow down``. Refers to keeping gender info off business cards, but
optional to title herself Ms. Deep selective fading, maybe sporadic E,
and marred by audio dropouts. Is it that tough to get a reliable feed
from Washington to Grimesland? 2057 reverts to French, this having
been LL called ``Anglais - Télé``, so a TV spot? 15185 runs weekends
only for this semi-hour (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2092 monitoring: confirmed Saturday
June 26 at 1800 on IRRS 7290 via Bulgaria and 918 kHz MW via Italy.
Monitored on UTwente SDR and Noale SDR respectively simultaneously;
disregarding internet delays: 918 tune-in at 1753 during music, S9+16
weaker than usual at local range, and undermodulated? At 1758:49 it
switches to Aïda theme as it starts, for about a minute and brief IRRS
sign-on, pause, and WOR starts. 7290 S9+25 open carrier with warble on
upper side, stays on until 1759:49, abruptly joining Aïda in progress.
As WOR gets underway it`s received about 5 seconds later on 7290 than
on 918. Also confirmed UT Sunday June 27 from 0320 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, MO.
Heavy storm noise direct; nearby KB0FX SDR is offline. Audible on KS
SDR and Muscatine IA SDR. Next: 2000 UT Sunday IRRS 918-Italy
