This week's
programme (first transmission on Saturday by Channel 292) starts
with a piano prelude from Frederic Chopin, part of a concerto
for two recorders by Vivaldi, and Bach's Sheep May Safely Graze
arranged for orchestra by William Walton. Following on - a song
by Mozart, a movement from a cello concerto by Boccherini, and
part of a suite for cello and piano composed by Charles-Marie
Widor.
The programme ends with the 4th movement of Richard
Strauss's Alpine Symphony.
