** CUBA. 11840, June 12 at 2206, once again like yesterday, RHC is here ex-11850, ex-11840, ex-11850, etc., and it`s suptorted. Something`s always wrong at RHC. BTW, 11840 was also Station YHWH`s frequency choice for midday Saturday broadcast until 1830+ as caught by Rick Barton, AZ; before Cuba would be on (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** NORTH AMERICA. 6955-USB, June 13 at 0037, rock/soul music S9+10, suspect Wolverine Radio, and yes, quick IDs between tunes at 0111.5 and 0123.6. This week`s theme is songs with ``Me`` in the title, per monitored playlists at: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,82761.0.html Still going past 0200 when it`s time for `Weekend Radio` on WCLV (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6974.930-AM, June 13 at 0103, weak pirate music, via W8BUG remote, S5 vs S7 storm crashes; with SAM reading -70 Hz offset from 6975.00; presumed Nowhere Radio as usual (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 94.3, June 12 at 2055 UT, still June 13 at 0122, KLGB-LP Enid is dead air in $ tereo but with static KLGB____ ID on RDS. I suppose it will be dead the entire weekend like it was May 29-30. If only they would also turn off carrier since tho LP it`s so close that DXing any adjacent 94.1 & 94.5 is tough, no chance on 94.3 itself (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2090 monitoring: confirmed Saturday June 12 from 1800:40 on IRRS 7290 via Bulgaria, via UTwente SDR, VG S9+15/25, and also trace on X 2 = 14580. Strange that both have same-pitch warble on their USB, evitable by LSB tuning. Does that mean it`s really also coming out of the 7290 transmitter rather than external QRM? Also via Italia-AM, 918 kHz, Villa Estense, via nearby Noale SDR, running about 7 seconds ahead of 7290/UTw. Earlier: At 1754, 7290 had open carrier over Chinese showing 7289.999; *1757 cut on much bigger carrier as above. On 918, talk show in English interrupted to JIP Aïda theme at 1758.7, but on 7290, dead air to Aïda does not start until 1759.8; brief IRRS sign-on, several seconds pause before WOR start. Also confirmed from 1939 Sat June 12 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, MO via nearby KB0FX SDR. Also confirmed UT Sun June 13 at 0321 about 5 minutes into so started about 0316 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, MO, again via KB0FM remote. Next: 1100 UT Sunday Unique Radio NSW 3210-USB 2000 UT Sunday IRRS 918-Italy 2200vUT Sunday WBCQ 6160v Area 51 to WSW 2230 UT Sunday WRMI 9955 to SSE [new] 2300 UT Sunday WRMI 7780 to NE 0030 UT Monday WRMI 7730 to WNW 0230 UT Monday WRMI 7780 to NE, 5800 to SSE 1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW 2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 to NE 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW 2200 UT Wednesday WRMI 9955 [jammed?] to SSE 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html Our non-commercial broadcasts and website depend on voluntary support: thanks this week to Dan Gerrelfinger, Cincinnati OH, for a donation ``as a thank you and to keep things going`` to Glenn Hauser, Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA. One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 9939.949, UT Sun June 13 at 0018, WTWW is active again on this off-frequency only, with #2 programming while 5085 is off instead of // as reported previously. During `Amateur Radio Newsline`, item about a Bigfoot net in Oklahoma, Wednesdays at 20h CT on 7115. (A SE county is promoting Bigfoot-hunts as a tourist attraxion.) After ARNL I am expecting `TOUTA` but instead hard-sell ads, 0025 canned WTWW ID disrespectfully with Our National Anthem clip as produxion music. Unlike 5085, I can`t detect any JBA spurs about plus/minus 12.9 kHz, which is fortunate since they would het 9925 KBC and 9955 WRMI! So maybe this is the otherwise idle #3 transmitter? Nor during music does it sound distorted as 5085. 0027 classic rock, 0030 Atlas weather, still no TOUTA, so I check pirate band. 0042 recheck, now `Theater Organ Under the Arch` has just started late. Original S9+10/20 signal now going into some deep fades which would not be happening on 5 MHz band. I`ve switched to the $ tereo non-fading webcast. At 0058 plays `Knightsbridge March` from London Suite by Eric Coates, probably unaware it was the theme of HCJB`s `DX Partyline`; but quite a different arrangement. Here is a traditional orchestral performance, perhaps the very one HCJB used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_YNW0dLy_I TOUTA is usually a ~31-minute program, but chopped off at 0102 after only 20+ minutes! No compensation for the late start; tnx a lot, Ted. Cut to bible verse, ID, and then the all-important rock DJ with `International Happy Hour` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0434 UT June 13
