Can you describe your new antenna? Is it a loop?
I have been trying to use a 1.5 meter square loop with 20 turns of wire with taps at 3, 5, 10 and 15 turns. The 3 and 5 turn taps seem to work the best for AM BCB DXing but it suffers from a noise level so bad that I can hardly receive anything through it. I have an e-probe antenna I have been meaning to put up but haven't gotten around to it yet. 73, Zack W9SZ On Wed, May 26, 2021 at 1:13 AM Zacharias Liangas via Hard-Core-DX < hard-core-dx@hard-core-dx.com> wrote: > https://wp.me/pcMZHt-4p > testing a new antenna 3x9 m > Pls Try subscribing direct to your email from the main page and promote > my work! > #DX #shortwave #MW #broadcasting #SW > > Also please look at this review: > > https://zachs-radiopage.blogspot.com/2020/11/cross-test-between-two-radios.html > several easy hints for sensiitivity tests > > > > > https://sites.google.com/site/zliangas/sdr > > > Zacharias LiangasAirspyHF+Discovery with SDRConsole & 2x16 m antena > Icom R75 /PL380 / De1103 radios > https://del.icio.us/gr_greek1/ZAK (all pages) > _ > Hard-Core-DX mailing list > Hard-Core-DX@hard-core-dx.com > http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/hard-core-dx > http://www.hard-core-dx.com/ > _______________________________________________ > > THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE IS FREE.
