** ANDORRA [non]. 6180, R. Andorra tribute special via AUSTRIA, continued from previous report starting at *1700 April 12:
Mostly unfamiliar pop songs in French, obviously from the 70s/80s. Tho playlist includes half a dozen in English by big names, which I never catch except for one I don`t recognize either, checking in occasionally from 1730 to 2030. Also some long segments interviewing DJ. Apparently a count-up rather than count-down, spoiler alert! Plays leading songs in the Top 50 at first, and by 2000 UT working down into the 40s, heading toward finale by 2045. At 2037, just in case, I check it direct to here, but still too early, no signal (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CANADA. 2749-USB, April 13 at 0254 UT, Canadian Coast Guard robo-YL, not with marine weather but message about COVID-19 travel restrixions against US vessels? entering Canadian waters. As usual, hard to copy it clearly. Nothing on NL frequency 2598-USB now but 2749-USB would be VCS-21, one sesquikilowatt from Halifax starting at 0240; not listed as bilingual at dxinfocentre.com but switches to robotic French at 0257.7 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 11850, April 13 at 0226, RHC is S8-S9, JBM so I can barely decide it`s Spanish, instead of English which has shown here by mistake before. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 6000, S9+30, April 13 at 0233, and 6165, S9+20/30 both with equally sufficient RHC English modulation for a change (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** PERU. Tnx to this tip on the WOR iog at 0017 UT April 13 from Lúcio Otávio Bobrówiec, Brasil: ``Spanish talks on 4752 kHz seems a LA station. 4764, Huanta 2000 silent for some 3 weeks. Congratulations Glen! 73 Lucio, Brasil`` --- Got it immediately at 0030 via Bonaire SDR on 4752.15 - Spanish with reverb, live remote? Promoting a ``Casa de Campesinos``, --- ``aquí en Perú`` --- with phone 940-99-77-28. Brief song, then mentions Huamanga, another phone 996+. 0035 suddenly off leaving CODAR. Not on 4764 either. Looks like R. Huanta 2000. Website is: https://radiohuanta2000.com/ not as in WRTH with fm after 2000. Audio en Vivo does not work. On page are other phones starting with 933, 960. Tuned around but not found on 4747 or elsewhere - just 4775 Tarma, and horrible spurs from 4765 Cuba about 4783 and 4747 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. 11940, Monday April 12 at 2203, REE token English underway, best here on SAm frequency as 17855 to NAm is not propagating at all, or equally likely, off. 15520 JBA; 11685 is second best with no RTTY. Alison Hughes with a few news stories: elexion in Ecuador with large showing by indigenous write-in candidate; Israeli cyberattack on Iran nuclear; Yemen vs Sa`udi Arabia; Myanmar; Gagarin in space anniversary. Then another YL with feature on ``magical trio`` of art musea in Madrid. By now 11940 is fading down; if NAm were still on 9690 it would remain loud & clear. 2224 Justin Coe concludes with a Blues concert, something new in Spain (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 9830, April 12 at 2202, no RTTY to bother VOT in English, but still no good, undermodulated on S9/S6 signal. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** VENEZUELA. 6205.039v, April 13 at 0138, ROCV, poor only noisy S6-S7 into TWR Bonaire SDR, romantic music with loud noise bursts every few seconds, which seem to be transmission or feed defect rather than QRM. 0143.5 Morse code ID cuts thru but barely readable talk including ``R-O-C-V``, back to vocal music. Still the same past 0208. At 0235 I check 6205 direct to here: as usual ROCV achieves no more than a JBA carrier --- but the noise bursts hit S8, *much* stronger now, as loud as they were in Bonaire, while ROCV can`t surpass the background noise level of S2-3. Therefore the bursts *are* external QRM against poor ROCV, not its own defect. Further, I can now tell that the noise is on LSB only, inaudible in USB. At 0310, Bonaire is still running as I hear another ROCV ID in code and voice go by, continuing VP with the noise bursts, also LSB only. Maybe time for another QSY? Has ROCV been off? Last report of it I find was April 4 by Manuel Méndez, Spain. I had not sought it lately; my last log was April 1 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0348 UT April 13
