A21 KBS frequency change
Wednesday, March 24 2021

bclnews
With the beginning of A21 season at  0100 UTC (1000 KST), March 28, 2021, KBS WORLD Radio English Service will broadcast at 1400-1600 UTC (2300-0100 KST) on 9785kHz instead of 9630kHz. This time around, there will also be adjustments in transmitters to stabilize their operation and to minimize discrepancy among frequencies. (!)

We hope the new frequency and the adjustments will better serve our listeners in the target area. Please send your listener feedback to English Service via email, snail mail and social media as always. Thank you"

Same frequency as used for A20.  9785 will be blocked again by CRI Kunming until 1530 (targets nearby Thailand, Laos). Will surely be a problem in Bangladesh, and parts of India especially.

No mention about other frequencies - so 15575 will surely remain for North America.  I suggested to KBS many times that they change the timing to an early evening slot for East Coast No.Am (afternoon further west), when propagation is optimum.  But any suggestions seem to fall on deaf ears (if indeed, anyone there bothers to read listener mail these days).
