** CANADA. UT December 14 after 0700 UT, a very quiet night at my too-late bedtime for more ND beacons, more under USA.
334-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0730 UT, dash and YER, 200 watts at Fort Severn, Ontario. Where`s that? ``Fort Severn First Nation is a Western Swampy Cree First Nation band government located on Hudson Bay and is the most northern community in Ontario, Canada. In 2001, the population was 401, consisting of 90 families in an area of 40 square kilometres. Wikipedia`` 332-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0732 UT, dash and YT, mixing with IC Wichita, which is quite weak, but the usual overrider is QT from Thunder Bay. Maybe I mis-copied. There is also YTE, 1000 watts from Cape Dorset, which I would much rather log as first from Nunavut, and the E-dot could have got lost in the mix. Also a third JBA signal, copied as YIS? Does not compute. Maybe really FIS in Key West - Fish Hook FL, 400 watts. Need to try these again! 284-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0739 UT, dash and YD. Probably was really QD, 500 watts at The Pas, Manitoba. Yawn, my code-copying may get confused half-asleep. 274-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0741 UT, dash and YPM, which is 25 watts at Pikangikum, Ontario. DXinfocenter.com shows it in red as ``back on`` 250-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0743 UT, dash and FO, 1600 watts from Flin Flon, Manitoba. 244-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0744 UT, dash and TH, 1000 watts from Thompson, Manitoba; the only 244 listed anywhere in North America. 236-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0746 UT, dash and CRJ. Must have been ZRJ, 50 watts from Round Lake, Ontario, ``to be decommissioned 2021-02-25``. 212-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0748 UT, dash and YGX, 50-watt NDB at Gillam, Manitoba. New, where`s that? ``Gillam is a town on the Nelson River in northern Manitoba, Canada. It is situated between Thompson and Churchill on the Hudson Bay Railway line. Many residents of Gillam are employed by Manitoba Hydro at one of their many facilities or support groups. Wikipedia``. In 2019y, William Hepburn listed this one as to remain on air beyond 2026y (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** FRANCE. 13660-AM, Mon Dec 14 at 1700, Alameda Bible Fellowship, robotic readings in English, audible S7 as soon as WINB DRM closes, via SDR in Forney, Texas. WRMI skedgrid shows this as Mon & Fri only, 500 kW, 135 degrees from Issoudun for East Africa, multilingual. I knew it had to be ISS as soon as I heard the accompanying beepery from always-defective transmitter (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ICELAND. 189 kHz, Dec 14 at 0750 UT, JBA carrier and near imaginary or trace of modulation, as I keep tuning below the ``beacon band``, where DXing 25-watters a kilomile away is not a problem, yet high-power Euro LW broadcasters elude me. Here`s one almost, maybe. RÚV, 100 kW, 24 hours (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. Besides many from CANADA, q.v., more ND beacons on a very quiet night Dec 14: 387-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0724 UT, CAV, which is 25 watts from Clarion, Iowa. 263-MCW kHz, Dec 14 at 0741 UT, CVM, 25 watts from Alton - Civic Memorial, Illinois (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2064 monitoring: NOT confirmed Sunday December 13 at 2300 on Area 51 via WBCQ 6160v, because it is OFF THE AIR. Someone at Monticello didn`t get the word to turn it on an hour earlier than before? WOR is running on the webcast. http://splatterbox.us/area51 2325 still no SW, and HRI also missing from 2329. 2359 recheck via Warrenton MO SDR, now 6160 on in time for `Radio Timtron Worldwide`. Synch AM displays carrier offset as -70v Hz, as usual, like 6159.93v. WOR confirmed UT Monday December 14 at 0030 on WRMI 7730, VG direct. Also confirmed UT Mon Dec 14 at 0130 on WRMI 7780, S9/+5 into UTwente, after 0129 double-IDs by Zanotti and Espinal. Also confirmed UT Mon Dec 14 at 0230 on WRMI 7780, same; and WRMI 5800 good direct; and WRN webcast, all almost synchronized. Also confirmed UT Mon Dec 14 after 0430 on WRMI 9955, S6-S8 into Missouri SDR; S9+20/30 into Pardinho, Brasil SDR where it`s aimed and no jamming audible at either. Better on webcast, and the first half should repeat on both at 0000 UT Tuesday. 9395, Sun Dec 13 after 2300, another music show on this WRMI, the new `All Tribes Radio` --- unfortunate scheduling vs UBMP on WBCQ not to mention WOR. I`m checking ATR periodically during the hour and do not catch a single announcement, if this be really it, just music. I do seek out their website which also leads to disgraced FB with more info about its SW startup, https://www.facebook.com/notes/10154673406166739/ and illustrates their logo also on QSL captioned as ``This image "Child Bubble Exploration" Public Domain, courtesy of NASA`` ``Tribes`` implies native peoples, but this does not seem to be ``Indian`` at all, but in a much broader sense; About: ``Calling All Tribes To Unite in Peace All Tribes Radio ·Monday, August 26, 2019· Calling all tribes to unite in peace, All Tribes Radio (ATR) was founded by Canadian activist and musician Ken Dunn in 2008. For over two years, the station broadcast an continuous audio stream featuring Creative Commons content from studio locations near Toronto, Canada, and Nosara, Costa Rica via a server in Tampa, Florida to an average 6,000 listeners per month in over 120 countries on all continents. The station featured trip-hop and electronic music, digital DJs, and re-broadcast United Nations Radio feeds. In 2010-2011, ATR produced 68 1-hour podcasts. ATR was one of the first internet radio stations to exclusively feature Creative Commons licensed content. With the assistance of Gabriela Sequiera and La Voz de Nosara, ATR broadcast a Spanish-language program, Radio Todas Las Tribus from Nosara, Costa Rica featuring international latin music and local news broadcasts from La Voz de Nosara. ATR's Facebook page continues to attract new fans and promote peace, social justice, and environmental responsibility around the globe. Beginning in 2019, the original podcasts will be uploaded to SoundCloud.`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 17775-, Mon Dec 14 at 1603, still no signal from KVOH, not really expected; wonder what`s wrong with their replacement frequency/transmitter, 9975, heard ``low-power`` testing Saturday afternoon but not on UT Sunday after 0000, and never on UT Mondays. 9975 maybe back Monday/UT Tuesday? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 13655-13660, Mon Dec 14 at 1631, my previous report reminds me to attempt to decode WINB DRM as scheduled M-F 12-17 UT. KC9FFV KiwiSDR at Forney TX is getting it when tuned to 13655 - never mind its LSB, S7-S8, S/N circa 14.0 dB which is not enough for solid decode, lo-fi 8.28 kbps audio in and out with heavily African-accented English by gospel huxter. WINB website will *not* provide a 24-hour program sked for the webcast, but Listen Live now sounds like the same guy; analog SW does not start 9265V-wobble until 2000 UT Mondays. I look at the sked by program name, none obviously African, and none in the EST AMs on Mondays, just PMs. Maybe I can catch the name, listening again to the DRM from 1657? Now it`s stronger at S9/+10, but SNR of only 1-2 dB! so nothing audible. About 1700 the S-meter drops to S7 as WINB turns off, leaving the band noise level. Then I can hear an AM on 13660, see FRANCE. BTW, WINB-DRM was back on 7310-7315-7320 after 07 UT Monday rather than unscheduled 9260-9265-9270 as heard UT Sunday (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 1855 UT December 14
