** BRAZIL. 11905-11910-11915-DRM, Dec 10 at 0300, Nacional FM 96.1 music is still the modulation on the RNA test, VG into Bonaire SDR with an S/N fluxuating around 20 dB. Four hours earlier it was not decoding (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CANADA. 396-MCW, Dec 10 at 0724 UT, dash and YPH, which is 500-watt NDB at Inukjuak, Quebec. I last logged it at 0759 UT Nov 29, 2019 when I researched it: ``on the east shore of Hudson Bay, 2845 km = 1768 statute miles from me. `Inukjuak is a northern village located on Hudson Bay at the mouth of the Innuksuak River in Nunavik, in the Nord-du-Québec region of northern Quebec, Canada. Its population is 1,757 as of the 2016 Canadian Census. An older spelling is Inoucdjouac; its former name was Port Harrison. Wikipedia``` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** COLOMBIA? 4940, Dec 10 at 0346, VG via Bonaire SDR, anonymous mystery missionary station, reportedly carrying webcast of Fuerza de Paz Radio. Here it is for further comparison: http://www.invubu.com/radio/show/station/fuerzadepaz/Fuerza-de-Paz.html but it is *not* the same when I check now, one in music, the other in talk; or far out of snych (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** GUATEMALA. 4055, Thu Dec 10 at 0556, no signal from TGAV Radio Verdad, before nominal sign-off circa 0610 except earlier UT Mondays. Also as of Dec 10, Rick Barton in AZ says he has not heard it since 1100 Dec 2. We keep getting notices from Dr Madrid about his audiovideos on Youtube, which appear to be his priority, but nothing about the SW being down. There was however news about this Dec 5 on Cadena DX FB: ``Édgar Amílcar Madrid Morales December 4 at 11:53 AM --- ``DISCULPAS El transmisor de Radio Verdad se quemó. Estoy intentando repararlo con la ayuda de Dios. Ahora transmitimos por Internet`` as forwarded Dec 5 by: ``Jose Hernandez Madrid shared a post. December 5 at 2:43 PM --- Nos informa el amigo Édgar Amílcar Madrid Morales, que Radio Verdad, está fuera del aire en Banda Tropical, por los 4055 Khz, por avería grave en el transmisor.`` Spanish ``se quemó`` = it burned itself, but is that more like English burned up, or burned out --- not the same. He did say, trying to repair it, and with god`s help, which implies it could be the former (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** INDIA. 11560, Dec 10 at 1524, S Asian music at S4-S6, so AIR is modulating today unlike 25+ hours ago when John Figliozzi, Halfmoon NY, was getting dead air at S9+20, 1415 when supposed to switch from Dari to Pashto (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** PUERTO RICO. 391-MCW kHz, Dec 10 at 0725 UT, NDB DDP which is 1000 watts from San Juan - Dorado. Always neat to hear this far one, often absent from bandscans. Also audible when tuned to 389-USB. BTW, I habitually tune downward, and may well doze off before I get to 200 or even 300 kHz (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 410-MCW kHz, Dec 10 at 0716 UT, NDB BA which is 25 watts from Columbus - Clifford, Indiana. Also heard when tuned to 408-USB; and on 410 CCI from something weaker. There are lots listed on 410. 404-MCW kHz, Dec 10 at 0721 UT, NDB XCR which is 25 watts from Little Falls - Camp Ripley, Minnesota 400-MCW kHz, Dec 10 at 0723 UT, NDB AHQ which is 25 watts from Wahoo, Nebraska (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 475+ kHz, Dec 10 at 0714, WA4SZE BEACON is still active from Dave Frantz at WWRB Manchester TN; very slow CW and stronger than the NDBs lower. Except for some birdies, there is quite a blank area below down to 426-MCW, where the UV beacon is heard again. 428 is the highest listed conterminous US NDB channel, for POH in Arkansas. In between I think it used to be a marine ship/shore CW band, apparently abandoned (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2063 monitoring: confirmed Wednesday December 9 from 2100:21 on WBCQ 7490.16v, S9+10/20, as always precisely timed like that, and not last week`s show this week. Also confirmed Wed Dec 9 at 2300 on WRMI 9955, VG S9+20/30 into Bonaire SDR, with jamming under JBA. Also confirmed UT Thu Dec 10 on WRMI 7780, S9 into UTwente SDR. New WOR 2064 should be ready by early UT Fri Dec 11 for first broadcasts at 0130 on WRMI 5850 & 5010 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 9955, Dec 10 at 1528, this WRMI-3 is still on with Jesus song fill, but then Jeff White outros as having been Freedom Synergy Radio and offering QSL for this on 5800 [sic] reporting to radiomiami9@gmail.com. 1529 starts a couple words of Spanish, 1530 switches to Brother Scare with quite a buzz, now // 9455 with somewhat less buzz (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 17775-, Dec 10 at 1518, no signal from KVOH; power still shut off for fire danger?
