Hauser
** CUBA. 6100, Nov 18 at 0704, RHC English is S9+30 but just barely
modulated, in fact suptorted; also 6000 but undermodulated. Not on
6145 or 6060 or 5040 which might have provided usable audio. Still
waiting for B-20 changes to kick in. Something`s always wrong at RHC
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13633 & 13768 approx., Nov 18 at 1454, S9+20 of spurblobs out
of 13700 RHC, just garbage in SSB mode when trying to pinpoint them,
but mostly readable modulation in AM or FM mode, which clearly
audiblize the accompanying F# above-middle-C telltale tone, and I have
just reconfirmed that note on my keyboard = approx. 370 Hz if A = 440
per
https://pages.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html

Then I search for more at intervals of 67-68 kHz and sure do find
them, the outer ones only by the F# signature, down to 6th order:
13293, 13362, 13432, 13499, 13566; not so many on the plus side:
13837, 13906, 13972 but not within the 20m hamband. Something`s always
wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NEW ZEALAND. 11725, Nov 18 at 0700, RNZ news at S7-S9, the SSOB by
far and almost the OSOB if it were not for JBA carriers on 11530,
11670, 11680, 11760, 11815, 11870, 11880, 11980. Glad to hear this
propagating and hope it keep up all our night for those awake. Before
0659 it`s on 13840, not so good. Current websked shows:
06:59 - 09:58 11725 Pacific Daily
09:59 - 12:58 11725 NW Pacific Solomon Isl PNG Mon - Fri
09:59 - 12:58 11725 Pacific Sat Sun
This means the middle block switches to their NNW antenna instead of
the otherwise NNE beam better for us (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. RF 34, Nov 18 at 1553 UT, BAD signal here is the only
sign of DX in a ch 6-36 bandscan despite not being inside a tropo
blob; most likely KMYT-TV Tulsa, 812.5 kW, than 8 or 9 LPs/translators
around the state (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. Problems getting TOMBS thru WRMI: See U S A

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2060 monitoring, next:
2200 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
2300 UT Wednesday WRMI 9955 to SSE
0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 to NE

Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts:
http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html

Thanks this week for financial support from Andy Robins, Kalamazoo
MI who with a US$ check to Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702
says, ``You provide an invaluable service that deserves support!``

One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to:
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. WRMI anomalies: 5850, Nov 18 at 0707, S9+30 of dead air
except for big hum instead of TOMBS. I wonder if gone all night? See
below.

5950, Nov 18 at 0709, S9+10 of undermodulated gospel huxter in
Spanish. System F with Fámily Radio in Spanish, WYFR remnant, is now
scheduled at this odd hour daily here on WRMI-5, target SW US &
México, where at least it`s before midnight PST.

9395 & 9455, Nov 18 at 1543, S7/S9+10 of dead air and also 9955 still
radiating at S9+10, i.e. lost feed from Walterboro, still succeeding
onto 9980 WWCR, whew. The other active WRMIs are modulating something
else on 7780, 15770, and probably JBA 21525. Via the Alexandria remote
I keep on 9395, until finally it remodulates TOMBS from 1631.5 during
some other g.h. than BS about the Roman Empire, and also // 9455 and
9980.

7780, Nov 18 at 1602, WRMI-1 in Spanish about Argentina; o yeah, sked
now at very odd time for Germany is RAE in ``German``, a language it
has in fact switched to by 1606 mentioning this very frequency as I am
listening via Virginia SDR which gets it poorly S9 vs noise, but much
better than directly. The three nines are still dead air as above, and
maybe 5950 but too weak to be sure. Key West TWR SDR can`t even hear
it (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9330, Nov 18 at 1542, not even a JBA carrier from the WBCQ
Super-station, must be OFF despite registered 14-16 with only 250 kW
at 300 degrees for CIRAF 2 & 3 = western ``Canada``. Back on at 1623
blasting WLC Brit-accented know-it-all gospel huxter now that it`s
supposedly 500 kW at 57 degrees, 16-18 UT (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 1807 UT November 18
