I am setting up a radio shack at the house in my rural area cottage in Ibiuna, 125 km from my home in São Bernardo. For now, they are experiments with internal antennas and some receivers. A place with dense forest, mountains, with an altitude above 900 m. The local is 8 km from Piedade, a small and cozy city, interior of the state of São Paulo.
The quality of the reception is surprising. Step by step I am forming my technical opinion on which combinations of equipment (rx, ant int / ext, acc) should be definitively applied there. I have good options. The place is quite appropriate. With the advantage of being a rural region, the inhabitants sleep early to wake up very early the next day. They are predominantly farm workers. After the chickens climb on their perches to sleep, most residents are next to rest. That is to say, chances of better reception conditions. 73, rg
