Thursday, May 07 2020

bclnews

CONGO, 6115, Radio Congo, Brazaville, 1757-1805, 06-05, on air, comments, very weak and very distorted signal, seems to have transmitter problems. Very irregular on air.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA, 5005, Radio Nacional, Bata, on air at 0515, 07-05, extremely weak, only carrier detected here in Lugo.

ZAMBIA, 5995, Zambia NBC, Radio 1, 0443-0456, 07-05, heard here in Lugo with fair carrier and very weak audio, Vernacular comments. Via SDR Kiwi remote receiver in South Africa strong signal. At 0456 signal cut off abruptly and at 0530 signal did not return yet, surely due to power failure. Yesterday evening, checked via SDR remote receiver in South Africa, frequents cuts in the transmission observed, surely due to power outages.
Mali open today at about 0530 on the same frequency.
