anti-science nonsense, then rock music, and KNLS closing with English
schedule for ``New Life Station`` including 13760 at 03 for S Asia,
i.e. via Madagascar. This confirms that not all the English hours from
MWV Mahajanga are African Pathways Radio as one schedule asserted.
Alaska had resumed on April 23 after 3+ weeks off, not clear exactly
why, expenses?

KNLS in Russian; only possible competition being SOH Taiwan relaying
RFA up to 20 hours a day including this one. In fact, it`s the same
KNLS-2 transmitter I just heard in English before 1500 on 9580, but
now 30 degrees clockwise at 300 degrees for ``E Central Russia``

jammer against Taiwan not turned off yet, but could be vice versa.
Aoki/NDXC shows jammer site as Kunming (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CHINA [non]. 11640, April 26 at 2125, chat in English about the
value of reading books, African accent, S4-S5. It`s CRI via MALI, that
odd half-hour broadcast until 2130, or is it expansion of the previous
one-hour? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 5040, April 27 at 0550, RHC in Spanish instead of English
during this hour, S9+30. Something`s always cockeyed at RHC (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 13763 & 13637 approx., April 27 at 1406, RHC `Sonido Cubano`
music back on big distorted S9 spurblobs, about plus/minus 63 kHz out
of 13700-AM transmitter. Useless in SSB tuning but audible in AM or
FM, and with the F# tone in FM. JBA on second-orders circa 13573 &
13827. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA [non]. 7335, April 27 at 0554, Radio Martí music at S9+20,
apparently hit parade having reached #1, no jamming audible at first
unlike slightly weaker // 7365 S9+10/20. 0559 elaborate ID, ``siempre
contigo``. 0600 becomes `Radio Revoltillo`, show of revolting
comments, dated jueves 23 de abril, so a replay; also counts number of
days to end of year. Jamming now audible under 7335. Nothing on 5980
now except jamming as no RM until 0700; and 6030 audible under
jamming. Comments about how the Great October Revolution was really in
November due to calendar changes. 0613 takes phone call to a 305
number, evidently from another exile; or contact via
radiorevoltillo@gmail.com RM has other music shows late at night. Better enjoy all this while
you can, as overnight 04-10 UT transmissions on SW are to be canceled
effective May 2, apparently due to a major budget cut. RM is the main
output of Grimesland, vs only a few VOA transmissions in Bambara,
French, Hausa, English, so we fear this could be the beginning of the
end for the ``Greenville`` site (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NIGERIA. 7254.9, April 27 at 0554 tune-in, big VON carrier cuts off
immediately, unknown if ever came back. At least they tried (Glenn

stream-of-consciousness monolog ran over, concluding with his peppy
themesong - what was it? Axually better here, S9+10/20 than to a
Rochester remote where there were storms. Alternate 6160v NOT on the
air. WOR 2031 presumably confirmed UT Mon Apr 27 at 0330 on WRMI 9955;
