VIETNAM at 09.45 UT VTN radio noted only on 11720 and 9635 kHz locally on
Kiwi Hanoi SDR set.

MISSING,  -  but nothing noted on air on 9840 and 12020 kHz from 10.00 UT 
today Sunday Sept 17th.
MONGOLIA   12084.877 kHz  Voice of Mongolia, UlanBataar in Chinese at 
10.00-1030 UT

S=5 sidelobe into Akitakata Hiroshima Japan SDR unit.
UZBEKISTAN   11510.007  kHz  Denge Gel (Voice of the People) in Kurdish 
language

towards Eastern Turkey, northern Syria, northern Iraq and
northern Iran national soil of Kurdish people – Kurdistan.
S=9+10dB –65dBm in Doha Qatar.
Nothing noted of Turkish MIT defence security jamming station on 16 nor 25 
meterband.

Checked Voice of Vietnam Son Tay outlets 9730 and 11885 kHz at 19.40 UT on 
Saturday Sept 16

both were ON AIR as usual til 19.57 UT.
But 9730 kHz suffers co-channel outlet from CRI Beijing center in Portuguese 
languge.

Subject: [HCDX] Voice of Vietnam Absence
9840 and 12020 -- Voice of Vietnam is missing this morning from these two of 
its usual frequencies. Together with yesterday's absence from 11885, it has 
me concerned that they may be dropping their non-Vietnamese language 
services. Anyone have any info about it? They do seem to be on 11720 in 
Vietnamese, competing with CRI.
