THAILAND 9385 kHz new fq R. Thailand, Ban Dung relay of USAGM Udorn Thani
site. *1200-1400* UT Opening with English, then 1230 UT Vietnamese, 1245
UT Mandarin, 1300 UT Japanese, 1315 UT Malay and 1330 UT English.
The first day (July 21) on this NF (ex 9940 kHz). Finally moved away from
9940 kHz to avoid AIR India (until 1215 UT) and Nippon no Kaze (1300-1330
UT). Seems to be a good choice as it was heard with a solid signal here
at Mount Evelyn and very strong via online SDRs throughout SoEaAS.

Subject: Radio Thailand has reverted back to 9390 kHz.
On 4 August 2023, I heard Radio Thailand at 1200 UTC or 2200 AEST on 9390 kHz.
Volume was good with moderate QRM.
I used a small analogue receiver with a whip aerial.
I was aware that Radio Thailand had changed frequencies to 9940 kHz. Now it seems that Radio Thailand has reverted back to 9390 kHz.
Radio Thailand is part of the Thai Public Relations Department.
They have a very large office complex in Soi Ari Bangkok.
When I worked in Bangkok, my flat was in the same street.
As well as the large office complex, there is also a school nearby called the Public Relations Department School.
