>From EI7GL: EI9KP (Ireland) will be running an experimental beacon in the 9 meter (34 mhz) band on Feb. 25th and 26th from 0734 UTC to 1804 UTC on both days. Sequence will be 2 ID’s in FT8, 2 ID’s in CW, locator, and a pause. For CW the frequency is 34.013 mhz, for FT8 34.0122 USB. Power is 1 watt with a vertical antenna. During last month’s test EI9KP was heard in CT, FL, and TX. Bill Smith, Douglas, MA.
