Hi Walt,

I can confirm your antipode DX experience(s).

I use my qth in Eastern Thailand a couple of months per year. The calculated antipode location of my qth is close to Lima, Peru.

I discovered:
1. daily window to 60 mB Peruvians around 1100/2300 UT year round, best in Feb./March.
2. The maximum lasts up to 30 minutes with extraordinary signal level.
3. Still unclear: The diameter of this antipode spot, I expect not more than 300-500 km.
4. Seems to work excellent on 60m, tried mediumwave without success so far.

As Wolfgang mentioned the couple New Zealand <--> Central/Western Europe has been observed often.

The antipode location of most of "us" is in the middle of nowhere, where is no AM tx.
