altho I might garner a few more details this time, I am about to quit
-- just when, after geo coördinates are cited, it dumps off the air

difference is that it is a 50 kW day and night "clear channel station"
(Class A). Operations began in 1927. The towers are all but a few
miles away from Lake Ontario and as such have a clear unobstructed

``Night pattern has a null toward WINS, day pattern does not. Mr Zuk
near NYC says CFRB interference is intolerable at night, therefore
concludes day pattern is in use. What a station axually does, not
necessarily correlates with they are licensed/supposed to do. Glenn``

unlistenable after dark because of WINS. 1010 was (is?) a Canadian
clear channel. I read in the past that WINS had to seek special
permission to use the frequency. It should never have been allowed if

** SPAIN. 17855, Fri Sept 16 at 2200, token English from REE previews
feature after news to be interview with someone from a fancy hotel in
Madrid known for hosting celebs. Pass. Anyway, VG into Maryland SDR so
other frequencies not explored either.

Tim Gaynor says the Unique Radio, Australia, webcast if not SW
broadcast of WOR at 0700 UT - and IRR at 0730 Saturdays, are now on
Sundays at 0800 & 0830 UT. Since IRR is originally several hours later
on Sundays, its initial UR airing would have to wait until Wed at
1130. Since WOR is originally on Thu, the Wed 1100 on UR would be
almost a week old. And: ``Streaming on low bitrate AAC+ for a bit till
I sort out a better internet connection and also the shortwave

carrier, which is normal without Es. 1830 recheck via Maryland SDR,
still definitely NO 15770 - a major loss with variety of programming.
Nothing about this on disgraced FB. Ops normal otherwise, at 1849
confirmed on into Maryland SDR: 9955, 9455, 9395, and JBA carrier on

** VANUATU. 7932 & 8620 & 7890, Sept 17 at 0644, NO R. Vanuatu on
previously or recently employed second harmonix. Gary Pence agrees,
after Ron Howard found 8620+ disappeared during Sept 16. But now we
need to do exhaustive continuous band searches before and after 0700
in case it have jumped to a totally new constellation (Glenn Hauser,

UNIDENTIFIED. 9700, Sept 16 at 2350, S9+20/30 of open carrier/dead
air; something warming up for *0000? Nothing sked then per Aoki but
RRI Spanish from Tsiganeshti is supposed to be here until 2357*. And
would you believe RHC English at 0100-0700 on 9700? Aoki and EiBi both
do! Never seen reported lately but will have to check for it (Glenn
