of WWCRs 5890 TOMBS over 5935 DGS/PMS another 45 kHz beyond,
fundamentals so strong that the ghostly voice of BS can be heard on

UTwente, English news mostly readable if you concentrate against the
distortion and humwhine. Yet I decline.

** GREECE [non]. 9420, April 6 at 1656, I tune for VOG to catch it
going off at 1700 like yesterday? Good signal into UTwente, S9+15, but
music at 1658 and announcement are *not* Greek. EPT is already off
uncovering CNR13. No timesignal but mentions ``Radiostantsiyom`` so
Russian-influenced, like Kazakh as some have guessed? 1702 ``Burasi``
as in a Turkic language, ``this is``, like Uyghur as listed. 1703
onward lots of talk.
Alan Roe, Teddington, UK, reports to the WOR iog: ``A later start
today (6 April) for V of Greece - observed crashing-on at 1417 UT
(9420 kHz).`` Christos Rigas, Wood Dale IL, replies: ``Late start was
most likely due to general strike in Greece today. Broadcast employees
were on strike which ended at 1300 UT today. And abruptly off at 1647.

``The closure of the analog broadcast of the Voice of Greece has been
delayed, even temporarily. With a decision taken last Wednesday and
signed by ERT CEO George Gabritsos, the public radio and television
announced that at the request of the Ministry of Defense, the Avlida
shortwave broadcast centre will remain active until May 31, when
re-evaluating the conditions for further continuation or not of its
operation.
In an earlier decision, ERT had stated that its broadcast on shortwave
would end yesterday, March 31, and had addressed the Ministries of
Foreign Affairs and Defense “to decide whether they want the
continuation of the shortwave broadcasts, as well as the acquisition
of ownership and the operation of the shortwave operation at their own
risk“.

English on air abruptly and I do not catch any ID. It`s S7/S8 into
Missouri SDR; program theme at O&C is hymn ``Blessed Assurance``.
Gospel huxter starts mentioning wildfires at Colorado Springs as if
current or recent. There may be lots of them, but quick search implies
the last major event was December 22, 2021. Goes on to discuss and
instruct on how to pray and how much -- plenty. From visual
references, this is soundtrack of some TV program.
At UTwente it`s S8/9+10 on 11620.001. At Bandung SDR it`s S8/S9. 1510
I attempt some TDOAs: Brisbane/Perth/Bandung lead to -35.80, +118.20,
which is in the Indian Ocean just off the SW tip of Australia near
Albany WA: no, but I am still suspecting RBA Kununurra in NW WA. At
least I find the signal widely audible: S9+10 into Half Moon Bay, CA;
S9/+10 into Kuwait. At 1525, S Korea/Kuwait/Perth lead to somewhere
deeper into the Indian Ocean.
At 1527 the Blessed Assurance theme again, a couple bits of other
tunes, closing with contact info or ID as VOMKorea, off at 1529.7* in
time for Vatican crash start Arabic at *1530.
