** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RCUSB, March 12 at 1457, NO LRA36 signals to
three Brasil SDRs where normally audible if on, missing another
Saturday. What about the new all-female crewe supposed to overtake?
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** BRAZIL. Re 28450 USB, my ham report of a PY2B# something, last
fonetik non-understandable, like ``Broadway``? Chanter, odxa iog
suggests: ``Could the Brazilian ham be saying Paraguay as a phonetic
for the last letter in his call?`` --- Yes, he could, maybe (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CHINA. 11590, March 12 at 1553, VG S9+10 of CNR1, which is only
here to jam RFA Chinese via Kuwait this hour only, a victim not
audible at all. I know it`s not RFA but CNR1 since it`s // another
weaker jammer on 9660 which has a different inaudible victim, R Taiwan
International. I continue to wonder whence this jam splurt, eastern or
western ``China``? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2129 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday March 12 at 0500 on WBCQ 4790 minus 16 Hz offset per Missouri
SDR = 4789.984; S9/+10 vs some CODAR there. From next week will be at
0400 immediately following ``Radio Angela`` bloc at 0200-0400. During
the Feb testing phase, WBCQ was appending some non-Angela programming,
and I expected more but seemingly only WOR now.
Also confirmed Saturday March 12 at 1700 on WRN North America webcast.
For some reason there is always a pregnant pause between WRN`s intro
of me, and me, but no biggie. Expect WRN will keep this at 17 UT until
Europe be on DST two sesquiweeks later come April; but check at 16 UT
March 19 just in case. Next:

** U S A. 9955, Sat Mar 12 at 1552, WRMI in fill music rather than
TOMBS cult, supposedly sked this semihour only for Sabbath service,
but which is live? on not // 9980 WWCR (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. (12160), Sat Mar 12 at 1800-1829 during my lunch, WWCR #2
stream with `Talking Machine Show` of ancient lo-fi cylinders and
discs singing, not talking, à la Marion`s Attic on WBCQ but without
the personality: virtually the only WWCR program worth listening to,
beyond gospel huxters ad nauseam and far-right extremist talk shows.
BTW, CNN has yet to reschedule, AFAIK, their exposé of Alex Jones,
which was blown away by BREAKING NEWS re Ukraine. Rechecking the WWCR
webskeds, as of March 1, this is still the *only* airtime for TMS
among the four 24/7 transmitters. From next week, of course, at
1700-1729 due to the imposition of DST and WWCR`s acquiescence despite
supposedly being for an international SW audience only; will their
program skeds show 1-hour shifts immediately effective March 13, i.e..
a 5-hour difference between CT and UT? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 28460 USB, March 12 at 1557, CQ contest JBA from an LU
station, i.e. Argentina, but can never copy entire call; another on
28467 USB. Just noted here to remind that 10m can be open for T-E
propagation; yet no show from any CW beacons around 28.2-28.3 MHz,
domestic sporadic E, or DX F2 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
