style="font-weight: bold;">You can help keep
Encore on the air:
style="font-weight: bold;">Encore is a one-man
operation. WRMI and Channel 292 are very
generous with their air-time but Encore still
costs around 200 Dollars/Euros a month to
broadcast.
If
you can - send a small contribution to help
Encore keep going.
There
is a PayPal donation button now on the homepage
of the website -
target=_new href="http://www.hard-core-dx.com/redirect.php?http://www.tumbril.co.uk/"
target="_blank" rel="noopener">www.tumbril.co.uk -
which folks can use if they want to. If PayPal
is no good for you then send me an email and
we'll sort something else out.
Thank
you.
A
big thanks to the folks who have donated already
- It's enough to keep going for another
few weeks.
This week's Programme - First broadcast on
New Year's Day Channel 292 -
style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">starts
with some Bach solo cello, part of the Damnation of
Faust by Berlioz, and three pieces by Jim Perkins -
the contemporary British composer.
After that - The Devil's Trill
Sonata by Tartini, and three movements form Ned
Rorem's Mallet Concerto composed for and
style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">played by
percussionist Evelyn Glennie.
Channel 292 can be pulled live
off the internet if the reception is poor in your
location. Easy to find their site with a google
search.
