** BRAZIL [and non]. 6150, Nov 2 at 2224, discussion of racketeering,
poor signal, sounds like BBC English, indeed this hour only via USAGM
Tinang, PHILIPPINES. No other signal now.
I`m looking for the brand new Brazilian SW station, imagine that!
which Bryan Clark in NZ discovered, heard since Oct 31, peaking
0630-0900, ID with help of Brazilian DXers as Rádio Saturno in Belo
Horizonte, 92.3 and 6150, and QSLed already. Apparently not on MW.
Searching, I find several Youtube clips of it dating back to July 14,
2021! How did this escape the notice of the broader DX world?

Bryan estimates power only around 1 kW. And maybe it`s not on air in
the evenings, as seems to be the case now. Other 6150s to avoid during
night hours: Romania Spanish at 03-04; VOA Thailand in Burmese at
2330-0030. Germany, S Korea start at 0700 but more or less limited to
the dayside (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CHINA. 7325, Nov 2 at 1447, weak algo with het from 7326. CRI in
Filipino is scheduled this semi-hour per Aoki; per HFCC a double entry
on 7325: 500 kW, 165 degrees from Beijing site, and 100 kW, 130
degrees from Nanning site. Also in HFCC only, a reservation for some
``JIC MIC`` clandestine, 14-17, 300 kW, 290 degrees from Yamata (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CHINA [and non]. 9620, Nov 2 at 2218, CCI in Chinese and more
Chinese adding up to S7-S8; this hour has CNR1 jamming and VOA via
Tinang, PHILIPPINES (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA [and non]. 7355, Nov 2 at 0623, noise jamming with a
whine/carrier about 7355.37. No sign of R Martí now, but which has
extended to 0600* ex -0400* on SW. Maybe will be -0700* after DST?
7435, Nov 2 at 0625, pulse jamming against nothing, as R Martí is
scheduled here 2300-0400 only. This PJ consists of approx. 30 rapid
pulses, a pause and then approx. 40 of them, alternating (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 13820, Nov 2 at 2206, pulse jamming against nothing since OCB
finishes at 2000. At least this is evidence the DCJC knows RM be here
sometime, unless a relic of B-20 season. Also weaker jamming still
audible on 13605, the A-21 channel. RM 13820 so strong here when on
that I cannot detect jamming. Equally super during the 22 UT hour now
are 9565, 7375 and 7355 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 11950, Nov 2 at 2215, RHC is S9-S3 but undermodulated during
the `Mesa Redonda` TV soundtrack alternate Spanish; // 6000 at 2226 is
S9+25/15 and even worse, just barely modulated. Something`s always
wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** GALAPAGOS ISLANDS. 18150-USB, Nov 2 at 2200, HD8R uttering this
call every few seconds, alternating with AB8F apparently trying to
contact him. I hear both well, but they can`t hear each other? Then
HD8R adds ``up 5`` meaning he is listening only on 18155-USB. His
accent is so heavy I had a hard time understanding his fonetix. No
details at QRZ.com beyond this:

meters (including Warc bands) on CW, SSB and Digi modes with at least
4 stations on the air at the same time. HD8R grid locator is: EI59gc``

** GUAM. 15215, Nov 2 at 2204, SE Asian song, S8-S4, something new
here. Aoki shows it`s KSDA daily in Vietnamese hour (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
** JAPAN [and non]. 11815, Nov 2 at 1404, NHK dominant over TRT making
SAH, adding up to S7. By 1439 Turkish music dominates, still SAH from
NHK. They overlap at 14-15, but don`t care about the collision here,
target for neither. Hope they each have no problem with the other in
their own targets: 235 degrees from Yamata; 310 degrees from TRT for W
Europe, but we are directly beyond (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** KASHMIR [non]. 15170, Nov 2 at 1612, Kashmir Civitas weekly Tuesday
clandestine via IRRS ROMANIA, S7-S9 into UTwente, now one hour later
at 1600 due to standard time in Europe, not Kashmir --- and it`s
almost all in English. YL with American accent interviews OM with S
Asian accent, but she apparently also has SAs roots. First about his
background as a musician and documentary film-maker, and I wonder if
this is really about Kashmir, but then mentioning India and Pakistan;
1625 she invites him to say something in Kashmiri -- not Urdu, and he
does, alternating with English. 1626 brief transmitter break as they
are upwrapping, ``fight against India for freedom``, 1628 concluding
with their names, totally unreadable, chopped off at 1629* with no RRI
IS (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SAO TOME E PRINCIPE. 9560.044, Nov 2 at 0620, S3-S5 talk in
African-accented English. This hour is VOA relay from Pinheira,
typically off-frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 11670, Nov 2 at 2210, REE is JBA but // VG 9690, also 12030
and distorted 11940 -- NOT on 11685. This is strange, since Wolfgang
Bueschel has been reporting 11685, not 11670, since B-21 began,
including earlier today with a silly ballgame. Is REE indecisive about
which African frequency to use, even during a single day`s span?
Something`s always nonsensical at Noblejas (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
