** CHINA. CNR1 jammer survey, June 3 from 1406: 10960, Chinese, S1-S2
with flutter, only WOOB one around 11 MHz; at 1408: S4-S5 on both
13230 and 13160, the onlies above and below 13 MHz; and JBA carrier on
13530 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 15230, June 3 at 1414, S8-S9 of dead air, no doubt RHC; while
15140 musically modulates at S9+10/20. Something`s always wrong at RHC
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MADAGASCAR. 11824.934, June 3 at 0415, S9/+10 English, African
Pathways Radio, contact address, i.e. MWV, way off-frequency. Their
evening English used to be good & easy here at 18-19 on 13670, 20-21
on 11965, but not any more, due to southern winter? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WORLD OF RADIO 2089) See also UK [non]

** U K [non]. 9915, June 3 at 0419, `Newsday` from BBCWS at S9+10/20,
remarkably good signal could be mistaken for a N American service.
They better watch out: we aren`t supposed to get them on SW!! It`s
really 250 kW, 315 degrees from Talata, MADAGASCAR, this hour only, so
it`s really aimed USward beyond W Africa; plus 0500-0600 switched to
265 degrees, i.e. southern Africa. The 0400-0500 hour is also labeled
by Aoki as *jammed by China, where it must also have a sizeable
signal, tho way offbeam for there (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADO
2089)

** U S A. 13565, June 3 at 1411, trace of CW, likely the 1.8 milliwatt
K6FRC beacon from Patterson CA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 28224.5-CW, June 3 at 1805, beacon K5GJR/B EL17, i.e.:
``28.2245 K5GJR C CORPUS CHRISTI, TX # 5W, VERTICAL``
I also logged him several times last June, July & August 2020:
Randy L Bates, Corpus Christi, TX 78415 USA ``I have a 10mtr beacon
that runs 24/7 at 28.224.5, consisting of a Radio Shack HTX100,
putting out 2.5 watts, using a Pico keyer kit I assembled, into a
Antron A-99 vertical antenna at 40'... 73s Randy k5gjr`` CC is 957 km
= 595 statute miles from Enid (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2088 monitoring: confirmed UT Thu June 3 at
0130 on WRMI 5010, S9+10 to Maryland SDR despite aim southward. At
beginning marred by some squeaxe every few sex, unknown source, but
gone before the ending (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

``Dear Glenn, During this past year, when all of our lives have
been turned upside-down, the constant and unchanging things
in life take on grater value. For me, your weekly World of Radio
program has been one of those constants. Thank you so much
for your thoroughly researched, timely and relevant listening
