China Radio Int'l 1080khz English Heard In Alaska Over "Semi Local"

On Fri. Jan 29th, China Radio International's 200KW transmitter on 1080khz
in Kunming, China made it here to McGrath, Alaska at 1603UTC/703AM AK time.
No actual ID was heard, but there were quite a few news stories mentioning
china and their 1080 Kunming transmitter does have english scheduled at
this hour. Normally, i have a "Semi local" on this frequency.. KOAN
Anchorage is 10kw and "only" 230 miles away and usually pretty loud, but
not this time.
Heard with a CC Skywave and 5" DeBock FSL loop antenna
